We had a beautiful day with no rain and temperatures in the low 70’s. We had it at the current Shults lot due to construction delays at the new Shults location. Around 90 cars attended and I got a lot of positive feedback from those that came out. I want to thank Shults and all the members who attended and whose enthusiastic hard work on setup, running the event and teardown made us successful. A good cadre of GPMC members is cruising up to Erie for Can-Am 2016 June 17-19. Lake Erie Mustang Owners Club (LEMOC) is the sponsor this year and they have organized a great lineup of activities for those of us who are attending. GPMC is the sponsor for Can-AM 2017. We will be setting up a planning committee soon, so volunteer, get involved and submit ideas for fun activities and Mustang cruising in the Pittsburgh area. Hope to see all 140 + and counting members at our next meeting on Wednesday, July 6th at Monroeville Park. This is a great site for our second outdoor meeting of the summer season and has great facilities including plenty of parking, a covered pavilion and restrooms. The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix annual charity event is coming up July 8-17. It is always a great time, with a lot of cars from model T’s to the latest Italian exotics, Vintage racers and a multitude of fellow automotive enthusiasts. We are requesting photos for the 30th anniversary PowerPoint. I would like to have one picture of each member, and “significant other” for the presentation. I will attempt to put four on a slide, which should make each large enough to see the detail. Please email or send a hard copy to the newsletter editor: [email protected] or Scott Unger 414 Summit Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15228-2618 I would like People with their cars, not just pictures of the cars, one photo per family, so If you want to show more than one car, you will need to be in the picture with all of your Mustangs.
