GoPro Wi-Fi BacPac™ The GoPro Wi-Fi BacPac™ is a premium accessory that leverages the innovative HERO Bus on the back of the GoPro HD HERO cameras. The Wi-Fi BacPac snaps onto the back of the HD HERO2 camera, transmitting and receiving a Wi-Fi signal, allowing you to take advantage of the new GoPro Remote Control and GoPro Application.

GoPro Wi-Fi Remote

The GoPro Wi-Fi Remote controls cameras mounted to the front of your surfboard, the top of your helmet or the hood of your car - anywhere your camera is out of hands reach. One GoPro Wi-Fi Remote allows you to control up to 50 GoPro cameras at a time from up to 600’/ 180m away.

The ultra durable and waterproof (10’/3m) Wi-Fi Remote comes with an attachment strap and key fastener, allowing you to wear it on your wrist, or harness it to your gear, such as bike frames, poles and more. The Wi-Fi Remote’s LCD screen mirrors the screen of your HD HERO2 camera, allowing you to enjoy full camera control, including ON/OFF, SHUTTER and SETTINGS control.

GoPro App

The GoPro App enables full remote control of the HD HERO2 camera, as well as live preview, playback and synching of photos and videos making it easy to frame, review and instantly share your GoPro moments right from your mobile device. The GoPro App will be available for smartphones and tablets running Android™ or iOS platforms (e.g. Apple iPhone and iPad) later this summer.
