We know that fundraising events are a big deal for charities. Events engage your strongest supporters and empower them to make a significant difference in the moment.
We also know that supporters are there to have a good time, socialize and enjoy the event. We want them to be able to focus on that and not be burdened with unnecessary steps that would get in the way of a great time. We’ve make it easy for them to give from their phones wherever they are and get back to having fun!
Our event features are accessible in our app as well as from any web browser. We’ve designed it to look and perform great on mobile.

Every event gets an event page that lives on www.good.pn as well as in the app. It includes any video and written content required to educate people. It should also include a financial goal, broken down into milestones that include a description of the impact reaching each of those milestones will create.
The objectives of pre-event engagement are to get supporters registered with Goodpin prior to the event so that using Goodpin during the event is as easy and fast as it can be. Other objectives are:
• Educate people on the event and the cause • Sell tickets for the event • Sell pre-event raffle tickets/prizes as additional
incentive • Capture donations from those who can’t
make it out • Generate awareness via social media of the
event

During the event, focus is placed on the live giving screen. Supporters that have purchased items or made donations prior to the event have helped to provide the initial content for this screen, which shows gifts alongside personal messages. They have also contributed to the financial progress bar for the event. As people continue to support the event, their contributions will show up in real time on screen.
In the ideal scenario, supporters have already signed up via Goodpin and therefore when asked to support during the event, the process is super simple and fast.
Supporters can be encouraged to donate as well as to pay for items they have won during the event simply by opening Good.pn
As with the actions supporters have taken pre-event, we capitalize on the social network sharing abilities of Goodpin to continue to draw attention to the event and the opportunity for others not in attendance to still contribute to making a difference.

Involve corporate partners for max impactWe’ve alluded to this opportunity in previous slides and think it is a great opportunity to work with your corporate partners to provide them with maximum benefit for their efforts in supporting your cause through donation matching or set amount add-ons.
Through Goodpin, you have the opportunity to attach their philanthropy to each donation and provide them with high levels of social media exposure for their generosity. Each post a donor shares to social media will include the impact the partner has added to that individuals contribution. The benefit of this model is:
• The message is coming from the individual, not the sponsor (authentic)
• Illustrates their philanthropic impact • Encourages others to also participate and
get the added impact of your partner’s contributions, which in turn gets shared out to social media again.
