Taking Time to Tour
Learning from Others
-Dedicated Car + Bus Loop improves safety -Great Community Room (FEMA)-Security at front office / lock down capability-Real Nurses Clinic-Pre-K Sensory Room! Loved the lighting!-Limestone reflects the Flint Hills-Very warm + inviting / How the sun shines in! -Cafeteria separated from HS/MS-Oversized gym with parquet floor -Geo-thermal heating + cooling system -ES completely separated from JH/HS-Nice storage space in all rooms-Attractive / maintenance free flooring-I loved the whole school (need art room)-Opportunity for mentoring older-younger
-Circulation desk in library too small-Grey used in color design was too modern -Patrons would like more warmth + color -Didn’t reflected school memories.-Small promethean board-Storage? In elementary rooms-Music room too small-Stage width too small-No art room-No closets in rooms-No true theatre, connection to music is idea!-District office is separate-Lockers in hallway instead of room-Student desks too small for all books-Special Ed room too small-Elementary – HS – MS (HS in the middle?)
