LOCAL RULES OUT OF BOUNDS - Defined by the inside edge of solid white stakes or lines. LATERAL HAZARDS - Defined by red stakes or lines. EMBEDDED BALL - Anywhere through the green, a ball which is embedded in its own pitch mark may be lifted, cleaned and dropped as near as possible to the original spot it lay under no penalty, no nearer the hole. CASUAL WATER - Any temporary accumulation of water on the course that is not marked as a hazard and is visible before or after the player takes their stance. Relief: nearest point of relief no closer to the hole. DROP AREAS - On holes #11, #12 & #14 a ball drop is available as an option for a ball that enters the hazard. The forward tee box will represent the drop box area on hole #14. MULCHED FLOWERBEDS - Maintained flower beds are to be treated as Ground Under Repair. Free relief within one club length no closer to the hole. Hole #3 - behind the green / Hole #9 - behind the green / Hole #16 - left of the green FREE DROPS - A free drop shall be given from any drainage or irrigation feature that interferes with stance or swing. If a sprinkler is located within two club lengths of the green and is within two club lengths of the player’s ball, the player is entitled to free relief. The player will be allowed a free drop to his/her nearest point of relief no nearer the hole in closely mown areas only (grass of fairway height). CART PATHS - Where the cart path is next to a steep bank or rock wall on holes #2 and #15 a player may drop on the opposite side of the cart path at his/her nearest point of relief without penalty only if the player’s stance or swing is interfered with by the bank or rock wall and the ball does not lie in a hazard. LIGHTNING DETECTION SYSTEM - THOR GUARD - One long horn, play is suspended. Mark your ball immediately and take shelter. Three long horns, play will resume.
