Learners - future learning experiences Teachers are going to learn how to create a short video presentation using Go

Animate.

Skills Learn the basics of the software starting from signing up, selecting a theme that suits

their content and going on to learn more about the features of this software. Knowledge and Understanding: Learn how to create a video step by step:

Know how to change the templates. Add characters, make them act and move. Record and add voice to the character. Add new scene. Add text.

By the end of the Session: Teachers will be able to create a video using this software.

Materials- Recourses- Strategies Materials: Laptops to follow up with me. A big screen for me to show them the steps. I’m going to use the software itself to present and create the video at the same time

because the software explains every step in details once you sign up.

Recourses: A video that talks generally about the software. Sticky notes to share their questions or answers. Strategies: Give the teachers 3 topics and ask them to choose one and write it on the sticky notes and

give it to me so we can choose the most wanted one and start a video about it.

3min Ask questions and have a discussion about the software to know their prior knowledge.

As a last point i will ask the teachers to write their notes and questions on the sticky notes during the session so we can talk about it at the end.

Presentation 10min I will start a presenting that talks briefly about the programs and how it can help them as teachers.

Next, I’m going to ask them to sign up in the website and then start working on the topic they choose.

Choosing a topic

2min At this step I’m going to give the teachers three topics and ask them to write down topic that they want on the sticky notes and I will collect them and we will start working on the most wanted topic.

Practical 25min Here I’m going to carry on the presentation and talking about the steps of creating a short presentation video and make the audience follow up with me at the same time.

Questions and feedback

5min At the last 5 minutes the teachers are going to give me their sticky notes with their questions that they had during the session so we can talk about the answers and make sure they understood everything clearly.

Anticipated problems: Poor internet connection. Teachers not bringing their laptops. Time management.

AssessmentSend work via e-mail: I will write down my e-mail and ask the audience to send me the sharable link of the video that they have created using Go Animate. Then, we all are going to watch every video and talk about it briefly.
