3 FEATURES

3.1 Description

Unlike the conventional outdoor air processing units which use R22 as the refrigerant, Gree inverter outdoor air processing units use the refrigerant R410A and apply the DC inverter infinite control technology, capable of making the outdoor air processing system more environmentally sound and energy saving. These series units all are furnished with the DC inverter drive motors and stepless control fan motors. Moreover, these units can put into use combined with the DC inverter modular units, with the air flow ranging 1200~6000m3/h and cooling capacity ranging 14~56kW. Their application mainly covers in the regions of luxury residential blocks, villas and office buildings etc.

3.2 Features

Save money: Outdoor-air processing unit can be used with GREE GMV units and also can bear some load for outdoor air to reduce the initial investment for the air conditioning. If introducing same volume of outdoor air to a same place, the cost of GMV + outdoor air processing unit is equal to that of GMV + air exchange fan.

Save space:It can operate together with common VRF indoor units, sharing a same GMV-Pdm outdoor unit. When they are connected together, the capacity of outdoor-air processing unit has to be less than 30% capacity of outdoor unit so as to reduce Qty of the outdoor unit and save space for installation.

No fluctuation of room temperature: With unique system design, the unit is able to process the outdoor air and then supply the processed air to the room. The factory setting temperature of the processed outdoor air in the cooling mode is close to the indoor setting temperature (22 ) so that you can enjoy much fresher air and more comfort and also the required load the indoor unit can be reduced.

Flexible application: With high static pressure, the indoor unit can supply air by duct for long distance to make sure fresh air can be supplied to each corner. It is especially applicable to meeting room, hall, supermarket and hospital where population density is high and a lot of fresh air is required.

Compact Design and Convenient Installation

Thanks to the compact body with the width of only 770m, this unit can be moved conveniently inside the building through an elevator and needs not be installed in the machine room. Additionally, with the simple pipeline design and layout, the unit can be easily installed in a short time period, reducing the installation cost dramatically.

DC inverter fanThanks to high-efficiency DC inverter fan motor,the outdoor units are high efficient and its noise is low; the ESP (external static pressure) is up to 50Pa, that ducting installation for hot air exhaust can be satisfied in the device floor.(Note: Only specified models equips with DC inverter fan motor, others is AC inverter motor,for more details please contact with GREE sales).

Wide Control Application Wired and Wireless Controller: The wired and wireless controllers are capable of controlling each status of the unit so as to provide various humanized functions and easy and convenient control. Centralized Controller: The centralized controller is capable of viewing and monitoring the running parameters and controlling up to 1024 indoor units in the single, grouping or centralized way so as to manage the whole air conditioning system conveniently. 6 CLEARANCE DATA

6.1 Space requirement of the indoor unit

The installation of the indoor unit should be done as the figure below. After the installation, the whole unit should be kept level.

6.2 Space requirement of the outdoor unit

6.2.1 Clearance data of single unit

No limitation to wall heightControl box and refrigerant piping side

Air outlet

The wall on the four side of the outdoor unit should be in accordance with the above basic space requirement;For the top wall (e.g. air guard interference), it is required over 3000mm distance between the unit top and the top wall in principle. In case that the front, back, left and right sides are open to the around space, it is required over 1500mm distance between the unit top and the top wall. In case the distance is less than 1500mm, or the unit is not open to the around space, a air inlet is necessary for keeping ventilation.

6.2.1 Clearance data of multiple unit

To ensure good ventilation, the top of unit shall be kept open and free of any obstructions. In case that the front side and left side (or right side) of the outdoor unit is open space, the unit shall be installed in the same direction.
