We must keep the core values of Rotary – Service, Fellowship, Diversity, Integrity and Leadership – in sight as we embark on our journey together. We have just one year but it is an opportunity of a life time to leave a permanent footprint in the history of our clubs and district, by giving life to the plans, projects and programs we have discussed for the past few months and other plans you may have in conformity with rotary values at the club and your local community. Together we can make BIGGER BETTER BOLDER clubs as we make progress in execution of our plans for the year. Do interact with the Assistant Governors and zone committee chair to nominate your club representatives on the zone committee so that a large number of Rotarians are involved in the planning and executions of projects and programs. Every Rotarian is a leader in his own right and I appeal to all members of the rotary family of district 3080 to join hands and make the year ahead an outstanding success. Pre-PETS, SETS, DTTS, AGTS, PETS, District Assembly and the Membership Development Seminar were all well attended and successful. We also had a workshop on the Rotary Foundation with the Assistant Governors and members of the TRF Committee to discuss and plan some new initiatives in TRF and Polio to clear some misgivings and bring new energy to the TRF and Polio Programs. This would be further discussed by them at the zonal committee meetings. I expect all the zone chairs and AGs to conduct zonal workshops preferably before July end. I look forward to hear from the zone committee chairs on the deliberations and activity plans worked out by you to translate plans into reality. In July clubs must install the new teams and are encouraged to hold blood donation camps in their respective communities. A New year, A New beginning...with New ideasUnder a New leadership … but All under ONE focus on“Building Communities. Bridging Continents”.

Having a bumper kick-start at the 'PETS' in Kufri, where we all got together with the motive of 'Working Together' –a wonderful and highly inspiring talk by none other than our own mentor and idol – Mrs. Usha Saboo, who left us all spell bound. Her past experiences in Rotary and future ideas left no scope for any confusion thus making our perceptions clear.

Friends, do I need to say more? As spouses – we can & we SHALL dedicate ourselves to Rotary Team 10-11, to work hand-in-hand with the Presidents & members involving ourselves in the projects & programs of the club. This shall go a long way to pave the path for a successful and meaningful year. So keep your spirits up & get moving – Till we meet next….

Make July, the month.
