What is AIESEC?AIESEC is an international non-governmental not-for-profit organization that provides young people with leadership development and cross-cultural global internship and volunteer exchange experiences across the globe, with a focus to empower young people so they can make a positive impact on society.

About Global Citizen programAs one of the AIESEC programs, our goal is that the participants will gain personal growth, cultural understanding by living and working abroad with cross-cultural teams and families. Also we want young people to have conscience of world issues by working in a social project abroad while improving the lives of others.

Take the step to have a challenging experience in a NGO or Start-Up where you will part of the building process of a project, generating ideas and strategies that change value propositions with the aim of creating transformative ideas.

Requirements

Benefits

Accommodation can be different depending of the country and project, usually you can stay in a host family, interns apartment, or in the NGO. If you stay in interns apartment you may share room with other interns, which can go from 2 people in one room up to 8 people(If the room is a big one). All this info is going to be provided by the host AIESEC entity

The traveling time from the NGO to the accom-modation, most of the cases can be around 1 hour by public transportation, can be more or less depending of the project.

Italy and Greece: Nationals from Finland have free visa entry to these countries. Peru: Nationals from Finland have free visa entry to these country up to 183 days (6 months).

Uganda:Nationals from Finland need visa to enter to Uganda, you can get your visa at the airport at Nationals from Finland need visa to enter to Uganda, you can get your visa at the airport at Uganda, we recommend this option, otherwise you will have to send your passport to the embas-sy located in Denmark to get the visa and it might take up to one month. Visa fee: €40
