Global Apprenticeship customizes your abroad experience from the exact dates of your program to the skill-set you want to develop to the specific sector you want to thrive in. We proud ourselves in affordability, tailored client care and flexibility. We are also the only company that offers you post-internship support for our China programs, which means we will continue assisting you if you were to return to China within 5 years. We do not view our apprentices as just clients, but rather as part of our company who share the same vision on creating a more open and globally connected world. The success of our company is thus measured by our apprentices’ success stories.

What we value:

• Cultural exchange • Individual growth • Meaningful experiences • Global awareness • Social good

What we offer:

• Internships in Shanghai and Beijing • Survival Chinese Program in Shanghai • Volunteer Opportunities in Nepal

Why GA? Experience and Diversity. Our team in Nepal has over 6 years of experience in hosting volunteers and placing them in social projects. Meanwhile, our Beijing branch has been assisting college interns from different parts of the world since 2007. The Shanghai staff is a multicultural team with 5 years of experience. Lastly, our ambassadors and staff in the U.S. are savvy travelers who have engaged in different projects worldwide. Relationships. We believe in building life-long relationships with our apprentices. We stay connected through e-mails, social media, and alumni events. Nevertheless, we especially love it when we schedule face-to-face meet-ups during our travels.

“It definitely gave me some big insights as to what I want to do in the future with my life.” - Martin Molina, Intern at a Pharmaceutical Company and Student from Harvard University

“I’m satisfied with GA’s service especially the way GA arranged my internship; before I came, while I’m in Shanghai, and after I left. I couldn’t ask for more.” - Ika Sari, Intern at a Live Communications Company and Alumnus from SFSU

What is GA?

"I would definitely recommend GA - not only because it's a bargain, compared to other programs like this, but they really did a very good job at helping me find a great internship. If I had continued the internship search on my own, I would have never been able to get this internship without GA." – Jonathan Hsu, Intern at a Design Consultancy and Student from UCLA

Survival Chinese in Shanghai

SC focuses heavily on survival Mandarin, cultural immersion and hands-on learning. “I chose to learn Mandarin because in America, China is always in the media and I wanted to see first hand what all of the buzz was all about. My experience was absolutely amazing because not only did I understand what the buzz was about, I also met so my great people, and made memories to last a lifetime.” – Dong-Ik Lee, Intern at a Global Communications Agency and Student from Harvard University

“Learning Mandarin in Shanghai was one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever had. I did the joint internship and Mandarin program… while this left me with little free time, I felt that I was truly making the most of my time in Shanghai.” – Linse Kelbe, Intern at a Market Entry Consulting Firm and Student from NYU
