Childcare Program

Volunteers in this program work in Orphanages, Child Care centers,Kindergartens, Community centers, Soup Kitchens and Day care centers.

Volunteer Role and Responsibilities :-

Teaching basic English to the kidsPlaying gamesInvolving the Children in different activitiesTeaching in a Play way methodHelping the Orphanage or Childcare center to take care of the

children



Teaching ProgramUnder the Teaching program Volunteers work in local Community as well as

Primary and Secondary Schools.

Volunteers either assist the teachers or teach a class on their own.

Subject taught mainly include English, Geography, Elementary Math's andScience.



Healthcare

Volunteers in the Healthcare Program work along with doctors, nurses and localStaff in hospitals and community clinics in different locations.

Volunteer tasks are determined depending on the volunteers qualifications,experience and knowledge. Qualified doctors and nurses can carry full day today treatment of various diseases.

Medical students and Pre med students can assist the doctors and nurses intheir work and observe their work to gain knowledge and experience.



Volunteer and Travel

Volunteering Solutions offers an exciting opportunity to do a volunteer trip

along with weekend excursions for the volunteers with a combination ofVolunteer programs and weekend excursions.

1. 2 Week Special program (Starts on every 1st and 3rd Monday)2. Summer Program (Starts on 23rd May and 27th June)

This program is especially suitable for volunteers who do not have time tocommit to a month or more of volunteering abroad but would like to makesome contribution and also travel along with other volunteers on the weekendsto one of the most spectacular places.



Conservation

Volunteers working in this program will work in an Elephant Orphanage inSri Lanka and with Giant Tortoise in Ecuador and Costa Rica.

In Sri Lanka Volunteers get a chance to see elephants up and close workingin tandem with the local authorities. Volunteers help in feeding and BathingOf Elephants and work for the upkeep of the park.

In Ecuador and Costa Rica the conservation part of the project involves: -1. Feeding and measuring the Tortoises2. Collecting eggs in the park from the tortoises3. Cleaning the corrals



Internship

Volunteering Solutions offers Internship opportunities for students in theField of Medicine. Dentistry and Journalism.

Inters are placed in Dental clinics, Hospitals as well as Radio stations andPrint Media houses.

Placements are available in the following countries: -
