Bruce Grubbs, Senior PastorPastor Bruce has served GBC since 1988. He and his wife, Jewel, have one son, John Paul, and two grandchildren. He is from Springfield, TN. Pastor Bruce received his Bachelor of Arts from Bethel College, a Masters from Austin Peay, and a Masters from Scarritt College. He earned a Masters in Preaching and Worship and a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Vanderbilt University. Additionally he served at LifeWay Christian Resources for 28 years. At LifeWay he was a consultant in Pastoral Ministry, managed the Pastoral Ministry Department for 10 years, and retired from there as Associate Vice President of Corporate Affairs. Craig Webb, Pastor for Vision & Purpose,Adult Ministries

Craig is our Pastor for Vision & Purpose and for the Adult Ministries here at GBC. He works with the staff team to lead our church to accomplish its stated vision and purpose. Craig also is one of our preaching pastors. He grew up in Honolulu and moved to Middle Tennessee when he was 11. Craig attended McGavock High School, Samford University, Southern Seminary, and is working on a Doctorate at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served as Senior Pastor of churches in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii and Clarksville, Tennessee and was Internet Producer for Pastors at LifeWay Christian Resources from 2003-2008. Craig is still the editor of LifeWay’s Pastor’s Today e-newsletter and the Proclaim Online Preaching Journal. Craig is married to Barbara and has two teenage sons and a daughter in elementary school. Mark Wofford, Pastor for Connect Ministries, Guest/Member Service & Campus Operations

Mark has served GBC since 2004. He is from Newbern, TN where he graduated from Dyer County High School. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Union University in Jackson, TN and his Master of Divinity at Southwestern Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX. Mark spent 12 years in Student Ministry at churches in Tennessee and Texas. He then served 5 years as a crisis counselor in inner city Nashville. Mark and his wife, Renee, have been married 17 years. Bill Craig, Minister of Median & Older Adults/ServeBill joined the GBC staff in October 2006. He serves in many capacities here, but his main focus is ministering to our seasoned adults and developing and coordinating the Sunday Morning Bible Studies. Bill is originally from Richmond, Virginia. He earned his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Miami. Bill then earned his Masters of Religious Education and a Doctorate in Christian Education and Leadership from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is bi-vocational; his other role is Director of Leadership & Adult Ministry at LifeWay Christian Resources. Bill and his wife, Sarah, have one daughter, Nancy Anne. Phillip Hardy, Lead WorshipperPhillip has served as Lead Worshipper at GBC since 1999. He plans and leads our corporate worship experiences. Phillip is, first and foremost, a worshipper of God through Christ. He grew up in Lebanon, TN. Phillip attended Lebanon High School and graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a BS in Business. Courtney Bradley, Missions Coordinator & Women’s Ministry Coordinator

Courtney has been on the GBC staff since January 2005. Ralph Cook, Pastor for Care & CounselingRalph joined our staff in April 2008 to minister to our church through counseling. He is a native of West Virginia. Ralph is an accomplished music educator who has served as Minister of Music, Minister of Youth, and a teacher in public schools. In 1998 he received his Mastesr of Education Degree in Educational Leadership from MTSU, becoming licensed in School Administration (K-12.) Ralph has also completed his Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville. He describes his wife, Joni, of 28 years as his best friend and ministry partner. They have two sons, Brandon, married to Rachel with three children, and Justin, a recent college graduate. Michael Eubanks, Pastor for New GenerationsHigh School Ministry, & Technology Coordinator

Michael has been on the GBC Staff since May 1999. He leads our age-level work from preschool through high school toward the stated purpose of our church - Spiritual Transformation.  Michael also manages the computer network at GBC. He grew up in Middle Tennessee and attended Lebanon High School, Cumberland University, Trevecca Nazarene University, and is currently working on a Masters Degree from Rockbridge Seminary.  Michael has served as youth pastor at Fall Creek Baptist Church and Radnor Baptist Church.  Michael is married to Kelley Wrye and they have a young son, Carver.E-Mail: meubanks@gladevillechurch.org

Chase Baker, Middle School Student PastorChase has served on staff at GBC since January 2004 and has been a member of the church since childhood. He works with our New Generations team in providing ways to see spiritual transformation in the lives of Preschool-High School students. He attended Mt. Juliet High School, MTSU, and will complete his Masters of Divinity from Rockbridge Seminary in June of 2009. Chase feels GBC is not only a place for a new start, it is a place to worship, grow, and serve together for a lifetime. Cathy Leftwich, New Generations Ministry AssistantCathy officially joined our staff in July of 2005, but she has been serving in our student ministry since August of 2000. She assists the entire New Generations ministry staff from preschool through High School. Cathy coordinates events, camps, missions trips, and all weekly activities. She grew up in Panama City, FL and then moved to Gladeville during her teens. Cathy graduated from Mt. Juliet High School. New Generations

Bridget Scott, Preschool MinistryBridget has been on the GBC staff since March 2002. She is our Preschool Minister and oversees our preschoolers by planning events and helps them learn that Jesus loves them and Jesus will be their friend. Before joining the staff, she served in the preschool ministry teaching Sunday school, helping on Wednesday nights, assisting with the weekday program and VBS. Bridget grew up in Mt. Juliet and graduated at Mt. Juliet High School. She has attended numerous conferences and seminars that pertain to preschoolers to enhance our programs. New Generations

Linda Bruce, Children’s Ministry (Interim)Linda joined our staff in November of 2009. She retired from the Wilson County School System at the end of the August 2009 school year with 30 years of experience. While in the school system Linda taught every elementary grade and ended her career as Assistant Principal at Tuckers Crossroads, a K-8 school. She attended Mt. Juliet High School, has an undergraduate degree and an Educational Specialist Degree from MTSU. Linda earned a Masters degree from Trevecca. She is excited to have this opportunity to work with the children here at GBC. Linda will work to provide programs and experiences that will allow our children to fully realize their place in the Kingdom work being accomplished here at GBC. Tammy Hill, Weekday Education DirectorTammy has been serving at GBC since April 2001. She directs and staffs our weekday education program that provides parents with some personal time while offering preschoolers a quality Bible based learning experience. Tammy was born in Nashville and has lived in Wilson County for many years. After graduating from Mt. Juliet High School, she earned her Bachelors of Science from David Lipscomb University. Telena Martin, Director of Business & Financial ServicesTelena has been on the GBC staff since July 2004. She leads the work of financial administration and business operations in the church. Telena works with appointed committees and congregation members with personal/family financial planning and management. She grew up in Gladeville, graduated from Mt. Juliet High School and went to Nashville Tech. Telena worked at J.C. Bradford & Co. as a mutual fund trader, Registered Sales Associate, and Operations Manager.  In 2000, she was appointed Asst. Vice President. After 16 1/2 years in the brokerage business she felt God was calling her to serve here at GBC. Trudy Carey, Assistant to Business & Financial ServicesTrudy began serving at GBC in October 2006. She assists with all financial administration and business operations in the church. Trudy is originally from Decatur, AL. Her family later moved to the Nashville area where she graduated from Glencliff High School. Trudy, also, attended Nashville Tech. Faye Miller, Senior Administrative AssistantFaye has been on staff at GBC since 1993. She assists Pastor Bruce on a daily basis. She is originally from the Leeville community and graduated from Lebanon High School. Faye attended and graduated from Draughn’s Business College. She also serves on the First Impressions Ministry Team. Faye and her husband, Richard, have two children, Jennifer and Alan. Dee Dee Dursma, Receptionist & Worship AssistantDee Dee joined the staff in October 2006. She is the “first voice and public face” for GBC as she answers the phones, greets our guests, gives tours, manages prayer requests, mail and assists the lead worshipper. Dee Dee grew up in Ohio and attended Ohio University where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre. Kathy Browning, Connect & Facility Administrative Assistant

Kathy joined the GBC staff in November of 2007. She assistants Craig Webb, Mark Wofford, and Bill Craig with various tasks including small group functions, communication & coordination of events, First Impressions Ministry, Seasoned Adult events, etc. Kathy is originally from Illinois and graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor of Business degree. She spent 15+ years in the field of property management (including Hotel and Mall management) before becoming a stay at home mom. Kathy and her husband, Jeff, have one daughter, Lauren. Mike Sanders, Director of Facilities & Food ServicesMike has been on the GBC staff since July 2003. He has the responsibility of building maintenance and cleaning. He also oversees the kitchen and meal planning for the Wednesday night Fellowship Dinners. Mike grew up in Gladeville and graduated from Mt. Juliet High School. He and his wife, Teresa, have three sons and one daughter, Michael, Matt Duke, Josh Friar, and Mary Jane. He also has five grandchildren and one on the way. Tony King, Director of Sound, Lighting, and Video ProductionTony has been a member at GBC since 2003. He has worked full time in the music business for nearly 30 years. Recently Tony felt God leading him to explore technical opportunities here at GBC. His onstage experience, recording knowledge, and computer savvy enables him to use his “gifts” to enhance even more our amazing worship experiences. Tony was born and raised in southeastern North Carolina. He graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in music. He graduated from Livingston Tech School and worked as an Auto Mechanic for 24 years before coming to work at GBC.Mark is married to our very own Cathy Leftwich and they have two adult children, Kristie and Jake.

Stephanie Byrd, Environmental ServicesStephanie has been on the GBC staff since May 2004. She assists in the maintenance and cleaning of the church. Stephanie grew up in Plano, Texas and later relocated to Tennessee. She and her husband, Billy, have three wonderful sons: Eric Ditch ,17, a junior in High School, Damian Nulisch, 19, currently in Army Boot Camp, Jason Byrd, 24, married to Lacey and active in the Air Force. Lacey is expecting twins in May or June. Stephanie and Billy have one grandaughter, Joleen, who is the cutest baby in the world!

Josh Whitman, Environmental ServicesJack has been on the GBC staff since 2007. He assists in the maintenance and cleaning of the church. Josh in the son of Jack and Martha Whitman. He grew up in Mt. Juliet and graduated from Wilson Central High School in 2005. He has attended MTSU and has plans to return to college in the near future.
