Angel Food M inistries is o non-profit progrom dedicoted to providing foodcost re lie f to fomilies ond communities throughout the U nited S totes. ltworks through churches ond community orgonizotions in over 32 stotesincluding G lodeville Boptist C hurch. Angel Food groceries ore sold in o

quontity thot con fit into o medium-sized box of $30 eoch. E och month'smenu is different ond consists of both fresh ond frozen items with on

overoge retoil volue of opproximote ly $ó0.G lodeville Boptist C hurch hos been involved in this ministry for over o yeor

ond hos over 100 of our members olreody serving on o rototing bosis.

Become q volunleer. O ne S oturdoy, eoch month, Angel Food is

distributed from our Annex ll building. lt tokes opproximote ly 25-30volunteers eoch month to moke this hoppen. At 7 :30om we unlood ourtruck ond set the room up for distribution. W ¡th the he lp of 3 -4 men, this

usuolly only tokes obout 45 minutes. At B:45 the rest of the volunteersorrive for distribution. D istribution is over by I lom. Anyone con help with

distribution (children ore qlwoys welcome). Those who serve withdistribution will be checking people in, honding out food items, ond

helping people to the ir cor with the ir order. lf your smqll group would liketo serve together, pleose contoct C ourtney Brodley so you con be

An initiol leom will be leoving teb.27 ,2009 to meet with IM B missionories, government officiols,teochers, ond other communily leoders to see how we con help to meet the needs within this oreowhile spreoding lhe G ospel of Jesus C hrisl to lhe people in this region.

O ur ultimote gool will be to plonl new churches ond to help them grow. W e will be moking o longterm commitment to the villoges in this oreo in on effort to build re lolionships thot we hope will belosting ond beqr much fruit for the Kingdom.

For the post 7 yeors G BC hos been troveling to ond support¡ng theG ood S hepherd C hildren's H ome in H onduros. Although we ore no

longer troveling there we fee l this children's home is continuing to domony wonderful things for the children of H ondurqs ond we will

continue to support them finonciolly.

H onduras C hildren Facts:. Average number of children killed in H onduras is 549 , averages appproximate ly 45 .75

each month. O ver 10 children per week.. O f these killings 80o/o are unsolved. N o one brought to justice .

. The capita l city of H onduras, Tegucigalpa , a lone has over 6000 street children.

. M ore then 1000 children make daily visits to the city dumping areas in search of food or

items to se ll.

o I large percentage of the street children ínhale glue to ease hunger pa ins and escape

the rea lity of the ir poverty.

. M ore then 600/o of the population of H onduras live in extreme poveñry. Their da ily task is

to find enough food and water to stay a live .

obondoned children.According to recent estimotes, there ore more thon 2 ,l0 million

orphons worldwide. E very doy, 5 ,760 more children become orphons.O rphoned ond obondoned children in Third W orld countries suffer

from lock of sufficient or heolthy ploces to sleep. From children in wor-torn S udon sleeping in trees to protect themselves from deodly hyenosto the orphons of E ostern E urope sleeping on dilopidoted S 0-yeor old

metol cots with broken springs sogging to the floor- millions offorgotten children oround the world hove no ploce to dreom tonight.
