Summary

GTG's water wash rigs not only use 110 and 240 VAC, They also de-ionizes regular city water so you can inject mineral free de-ionized water into your precious engines. Our systems are entirely enclosed so extreme heat or cold would not effect the lines. Our units have a convenient folding tow bar for ease of transport and storage.

Our proven equipment will meet and exceed OEM requirements for engine washing procedures. Our injection probes can be used on all types of jet/turbine engines, so the operators do not have to acquire specific J hook probes (lances) for specific engines. This means one set of probes will fit all types of turbine engines.

Giti Tech Group's manufacturing philosophy is to take a proven design and build industrial grade equipment using the highest quality material.

GTG offers the most affordable, universal, and ECO friendly equipment for Engine Water/Detergent Washing from start to finish. Our patented collection suit is a product that GTG has developed over the past ten years and is proven to be the most effective method of capturing effluent coming out of the tail pipe and engine in the least amount of time.

Recent Demonstration wash for FedEx at LAX

In the month of November the AJW crew was at LAX airport demonstrating the company’s latest suits for DC10 #2 engine and also #1 and 3 engines for FedEx Airlines.

This demonstration wash was totally successful and acceptable by the FedEx Airlines’ Maintenance and Engineering departments.

“This is great news for a company that has financially grown 10 times since the last 2 years of its conception,” said Shawn Tadayon, Aero Jet Wash’s director of sales and technical support. With today’s high fuel prices, more and more airlines are leaning toward Implementing a scheduled water wash program than ever before.

Don’t spend another day wondering if you should wash your turbine engines or not. Save thousands or even millions of dollars a year by keeping your engines clean. Injecting water or other liquid into the internal passages of dynamic compressors is often a simple, inexpensive answer to many air or gas handling problems.

Aero Jet Wash Facts

On October 7th 2008, AJW reached an agreement with Omni Air International Airlines based in Tulsa, OK to hot water wash its entire engine fleet of RB211s and CF6-50s. This agreement was reached after Aero Jet Wash based in Columbus, OH performed a demonstration wash on an Omni Air International’s DC10 engine. Hot water wash cleans the core of the engine by removing accumulated dirt and contamination from the engine airfoil surfaces that contribute to wear and lower efficiency. The result is a much more efficient engine which generally has better EGT margin and SFC after the wash process. According to the latest studies, typical EGT recovery of 8 to 10 degrees C decreases SFC by approximately 1%, so keeping the engine clean is also essential to fuel savings.

AJW now carries more protection coverage for you when it comes to liability insurance In a move to provide our

customers more piece of mind, we have instructed our

insurance underwriter to increase the amount of our insurance liability coverage

from a total of $2 million to $4 million.

1. USA 3000 Airlines signed contract to go green. AJW proudly announces a new agreement with USA 3000 to wash their A320s powered with CFM56 engines at CLE, DTW and PIT international airports. This agreement was reached after AJW performed a demo wash for USA 3000 at their maintenance facility at Cleveland International Airport. Mike Vahedy the President of AJW says: “We successfully washed two CFM56 engines in 2 hours time with 100% of the affluent captured, this is a first in the industry” USA 3000 is amongst a few airlines which wash engines on schedule basis to save on fuel and maintenance costs. As the jet fuel prices keep climbing there are more airlines joining the club to perform scheduled compressor wash than ever before. The old method of washing which was usually done by hosing down the engines with water has been abandoned by many operators because of stricter federal and state laws governed by the EPA.

. 2. Environmental Concerns!! Environmental issues are the topic of the most recent discussions, arguments and also engine manufacturers’ latest design concepts in today’s aviation industry. Congress of the U.S has recently formed a committee to oversee environmental issues and ways to cut down on pollution & harmful gases.

This is why the Aero Jet Wash’s “Jet Wet Suit patent pending” has been carefully designed and tested to be used in all the U.S and international airports

3.To do water wash or detergent wash? That is the question. Simply put the decision to perform water wash or detergent wash is entirely up to the discretion of the individual operator. Aero Jet Wash provides different options for different preferences and operators’ choices. We provide cold water wash, hot water wash or cold detergent wash services to our clients. Most Engine Manufacturers manuals have provisions for both water wash and detergent wash.

Our company was established by a group of aviation professionals who have extensive experience in operations and engineering.

We have done extensive research development, testing and using our jet engine wash systems and have found that it would make a tremendous difference to your operation. According to engine manufacturers' studies, a jet engine wash program, when performed right, can save an operator between 0.3 to 1 % in fuel costs every year. This could mean millions of dollars for major airlines and hundreds of thousands of dollars for business/executive jet operators.

Benefits of Engine Washing

According to most aircraft manufacturers, operators need to be aware of the benefits of having engines washed regularly.

All engines accumulate dirt and other contaminants during their normal service. The amount of accumulation depends on various factors, such as where the aircraft is operating and the frequency of the operation. Washing engines on a regular basis will allow engines to stay on wing longer as well as enhance the safety and economy of operation.

Operators will gain the following benefits from regular engine washing:

- BIG SAVINGS ON FUEL: According to OEMs, regular engine washing is a proven method to save at least 1 % on fuel consumption per year.

- LOWER THE EGT: According to the latest studies, typical EGT recovery of 8 to 10 degrees C decreases SFC by approximately 0.8 to 1 %, so keeping the engines clean is essential to fuel savings.

- INCREASE THE TBO: Washing engines has been known to extend the life of the engine due to cleaner compressors, vanes, stators and turbines.

- OEM RECOMMENDED: Almost all engine manufacturers recommend engine washing.

GTG Delivery, Collection and

Waste Water Treatment System

This system consists of three tanks. One 90 Gallon tank holds pure de-ionized water, A second 90 Gallon tank holds waste water when collected by the collection suit and one 40 gallon tank can hold either detergent or more pure water. The pure water/detergent tanks electrically heat the water/detergent content up to 150 Degrees Fahrenheit through an On- Demand water/detergent heating system. The AJW-115 (Green Jet Wash®) system also has two filtration units. One which allows regular tap water to become 100% pure, mineral-free de-ionized water before entering the tanks and the other is to treat the effluent when collected by the recovery system. The electrically driven pumps on the metal frame of the rig are capable of delivering up to 30 GPM of pressurized fluid into the delivery hose. Unlike other injection systems, our system eliminates the need for carrying and servicing Nitrogen Bottles to pressurize the tanks.

AJW-115 Green Jet Wash ®

The control panel on the rig allows the operator to read the fluid temperature in both tanks, and illuminated turn switches activate the pumps for water/fluid delivery. The delivery hose could be (depending on the operator’s choice) connected to J shaped probes which are inserted from the back of the bypass duct and then held tight against the core case in front of the 1st stage stators and the 2nd stage compressors. This ensures 100% water/detergent injection into the engine core. This method also eliminates opening of the cowlings and thrust reversers and reduces the time spent for a complete engine wash.

AJW-115 has a sturdy tow bar and hitch which allows the unit to be transported in and around the airport or on an open road. The overall dimensions: 11 feet long including the tow bar or 7 feet long with the tow bar folded, 6 feet tall and 8 feet wide. Empty Weight is 2400 US Lbs.
