GHA Regeneration Seminar
Better Places: Design and Delivery Key speaker: Max Hislop, Manager, Glasgow & Clyde Valley Green Network Partnership
There is growing interest in the important role that Green Infrastructure can play in delivering better places. Careful consideration of how Green Infrastructure is designed into the urban environment could lead to the cost effective delivery of a range of benefits.
The GCV Green Network Partnership has developed an approach to Integrate Green Infrastructure (IGI) into urban areas based on several design studies recently completed in Glasgow.
Max will give an overview of the Partnership's ‘IGI Approach’ and show how it is being applied to areas such as Nitshill in Glasgow, explaining how RSLs and tenants might benefit from application of this approach.
