1. Creating Your Account

Go to tbi.partnermarketing.com. Enter your email address under Sign Up TBI will then approve your account within 1 business day

WARNING: Emails will be sent from tbicom.com and partnermarketing.com, so be sure both domains are approved senders within your email client and firewall.

2. Customizing Your Profile

Log in to PMC and set up your profile (it can then be used for each of the campaigns moving forward). Select {Your Name} > Account settings

Complete all the tabs within your Account settings, as outlined below. This only needs to be done upon account creation or with contact updates.

COMPANY DETAILS This is general information specific to your company. If someone else from your company has already created an account, this information should already be populated.

The company details will be used to populate the personalization fields within the campaigns. If you desire, these can also be edited within the individual campaigns.

Company details – 250-character company boilerplate Privacy policy – with increased privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, every company needs a privacy policy – if you do not have one, contact your attorney to create one that can be posted on your website and within this tool.

3. Setting Up Distribution Lists

TBI encourages you to segment your lists and send separate campaigns to customers in addition to prospects. When importing lists, think through different segments you have within your contact list, and import smaller lists specific to each segment. Be sure you clearly name these lists for future reference.

NOTE: PMC is GDPR compliant so all data in the system is solely owned by you and the sharing of this data is strictly prohibited. Meaning, any data you add to the platform is yours and yours alone. No one else has the right to access or use this data.

Select Data and Leads > Manage my lists

Select + Add new Data

Name your list – make this detailed and include the following: • Date • Source (i.e. Chamber Members) • Type of contact (i.e. Customer or Prospect) Sample List Name: 2018-10 Chamber Member Customers

ENTERING YOUR LIST MANUALLY Use this to set up a test list for yourself.

In the Choose a new or existing list drop down, select Create a new list Follow the layout of the grey text within the box and separate each property with a comma If you don’t have an opt-in date from a previous email marketing client, the current date will work. Make sure to format your date in the recommended layout, YYYY-MM-DD.

Select Upload list Select the checkbox to confirm you have permission to send to those contacts Select Add data Check your mappings, if you followed the sample, you should not need to make any changes

UPLOADING YOUR LIST If you already have a list of contacts in an existing email marketing tool, or in an excel file, this is an easy way to get them into PMC. Export the Example CSV

Review the layout of the data and modify your spreadsheet to match the Example CSV OR copy and paste your data into the Example CSV • First Name • Last Name • Email Address • Opt-In Preference (Yes or No) • Opt-In Date (YYYY-MM-DD) • Source Save As CSV (Comma delimited) Import your list into PMC

Select Browse Locate your CSV file on your computer Select Open Select Upload list Select the checkbox to confirm you have permission to send to those contacts Select Add data Check your mappings; if you followed the sample, you should not have to make any changes

Once you have reviewed all your mappings and the data you entered matches the Belongs to… selections, select Confirm data

4. Creating a Campaign

Now that your profile is in place and you have a list to market to, you are all set to customize resources – whether you just want to co-brand a PDF or send a full drip marketing campaign.

Select Campaigns > Create a new campaign Search for your campaign of choice with the search bar, asset type filter or scroll through the list of available campaigns

Once you have located the campaign you are interested in, View full campaign A couple things to note: • Be mindful of the campaign details section – review this section for related assets along with how to engage TBI the related vendor, engineers and/or other technical resources. • This information is particularly important if you are campaigning on a technology newer to your portfolio - various resources are in place to reduce your learning curve and help you close deals while you are “becoming an expert” on the new technology - download or bookmark these assets so you are prepared for customer/prospect engagement. • A full preview of the campaign assets can be seen here – select the Preview button to read through each piece of content in the campaign.

Once you are comfortable with the campaign, select Create this campaign Enter a name for your campaign – like list names, these should be detailed Campaign names should include the following: • Company Name • Technology • Audience • Date Ex. ABC Company UCaaS Customer 2018-10 Select Next Confirm your Company details – this is the boilerplate for your company that you programmed into your profile, you can edit as you see fit to work with the given campaign, once okay, select Next Your campaign name is also the URL that will be used for your landing page; verify the URL Select Next

NOTE: You also have the option to export the HTML file and host your landing page on your own website. For this, you would select I would like to host the landing page on my own URL.

Now it is time to prepare the campaign for distribution – many of the fields will auto-fill with language from your profile but some will require manual updates.

Select if you would like to utilize the social media posts within the campaign – check or uncheck the Twitter and LinkedIn icon

LANDING PAGE Review and edit the landing page Select Edit The landing page will open and you can begin customizations Select your accent color from the options in the left-hand column Choose your header image; Save

Review and modify any of the sections surrounded by a dotted line – or leave as is, whichever you prefer!

NOTE: You can edit the text boxes and add formatting like bold and underline. You can also add links and change copy. If you run into issues saving down your changes, you may have exceeded the character limit within that text box.

Scroll down to edit your company info and contact details 1. Company Description – you can expand upon this or write a little more about your business and how it relates to the specific technology within the campaign 2. Company Name – this will populate from your Company details section of your profile 3. Contact Name – this will not populate on its own, so be sure to edit 4. Phone Number – this is the phone number under Company details; if you would like this to be a different phone number, update here 5. Email Address – same thing here; this is the email in your Company details, update to your personal email if you prefer 6. Website – This is your company website; if you would like to update to a specific webpage, edit here 7. Image – Your logo is already posted above; use this space for an image that is relevant to you and/or this landing page. Keep in mind, this image will also pull through on social posts 8. Social Media – Choose which platforms you would like to link up and promote within this campaign a. Select the check box next to each social icon you would like to display on your landing page b. Type in your handle in the space provided c. Save

Once you are comfortable with your landing page, scroll to the top and select Form Success Page at the top left

FORM SUCCESS PAGEYour landing page houses a form for visitors to complete if they want more info.

This is the page customers will see once they submit that web form.Formatting and customizations should have flowed through from any edits you made to the landing pageOnce you have reviewed each of the fields, select Save and review

PMC will now take the adjustments you made to the landing page and apply many of those changes to the emails within that campaign.

NOTE: Changes made to one campaign will not flow into other campaigns.

To review emails scroll down to Scheduled assets and select Edit

EMAILSYou will go through the same process for reviewing and editing emails as you did for the landing page; please reference the Landing Page section of this guide for information on updating images, text boxes and contact information.Once you are comfortable with this email, select Save and reviewContinue this process for the remaining emails

NOTE: You will need to review every email within the campaign before you can publish the campaign.

SOCIAL MEDIAOnce you have reviewed and edited the landing pages and emails, it is time to review the social posts.

Scroll through your campaign overview page and review each social media post – the entire post is visible within the preview page. If you would like to edit a specific post, select EditModify the language as you see fit; select Save

Now that you have reviewed and customized each asset within the campaign, it is time to publish.Select Start publishing

5. Distributing a Campaign

Publish your landing page by following the queues within the platform Select Publish

Confirm Publish

Select the URL to view your live landing page

NOTE: This URL is now a public facing URL that you can use however you would like in addition to the email campaign and social posts. Keep this for use on other marketing activities.

A confirmation email will also be sent to you – file that away so you can easily access the campaign analytics as the campaign progresses.

Now that your landing page is published, you can schedule your email marketing campaign. To do this, select Start

Confirm that you would like to send emails through PMC, Next

NOTE: You can export emails to send through an existing email client if you prefer, simply select I would like to download and broadcast the emails through my own system

Confirm that you would like to follow the recommend campaign cadence for email distribution and social media posting – that means, you will utilize TBI’s email marketing best practices and distribute the campaign over a period of time, usually 30 days.Select the box next to Automatically schedule all of my emails in one easy step > Confirm

Choose your list from the Select list dropdown, or add a new list (detailed instructions available in the Setting up distribution lists section of this guide).

Confirm the date and time in which you would like the campaign to begin along with your time zone.

WARNING: If you do not edit this field, your campaign will begin to send 24 hours later, including on a weekend. Following TBI’s cadence, each subsequent email would send 1 or 2 weeks later so make sure you edit your campaign send date to be a week day.

The best days of the week to send emails are Tuesday and Wednesday around 10:00 AM.

6. Reviewing, Editing and Analyzing

Now that you have set up and hopefully published a campaign, you may want to go back into the campaign and review what you sent, edit the send times for future emails and/or view the results.

You can access some of your most recent campaigns from the homepage or select Activity & Reports > My Campaigns

Locate the campaign you would like to review or modify and select View campaign

From there, you can: • Edit distribution lists and times by selecting Continue publishing

• View results by selecting the chart icon

Not all recipients will click through in your email and submit a form on your landing page – but they may still be interested in learning more about the technology you are discussing.Review KPIs like open rate and click rate, and reach out to those contacts for follow up.
