Order Modifications

Any changes orders must be through email or fax and are not accepted over the phone, but please do call to confirm changes.

Drop shipments are available at no extra charge how-ever extra charges will be applied for incorrect address-es and/or residential addresses. Linnea uses its own shipping accounts for all orders. Customers shipping accounts are NOT ACCEPTED at this time. Linnea will not be responsible for any delays in transit

Lead times

In stock: Items ship within 72 hours of receiving a pur-chase order for items in stock, provided all necessary forms are included.

Not in stock: 3-4 weeks*

Special orders: 6-8 weeks*

Payment

Open accounts: Net 30 days from the date of Lin-nea’s invoice.Credit card accounts: Charged prior to shippingNo orders will be shipped to past due accounts

Returns

Returns are accepted until 45 days from the ship-ment date with a “Return Goods Authorization” (RGA) number. Please fill out a ‘RGA number re-quest form’ and return by email or fax:

The RGA is valid for 30 days. RGA requests are pro-cessed once in a week.

Valid returns are subject to a 35% restocking fee. Return freight will be paid by the customer. Re-imbursement of freight will be determined upon product condition.

Linnea will not be responsible for merchandise damaged in transit. QC and shipping error

Any quality control (QC) issues and/or shipping error must be notified within 15 business days to resolve the issues in timely manner. Linnea will not be responsible for any claims beyond this time.

For damaged claim, a clear picture of the shipping box and products must be provided to handle the claim without any delays.

General Information

Special orders (including entry pulls and custom items)

A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to place an order and can’t be cancelled once the order is con-firmed.

Custom finishes

Custom finishes are non-returnable and require a deposit. Dark Chocolate (DCH) [our version of ORB] items are unique, and variations may occur. Estimat-ed lead times: 6-8 weeks

Hardware Finishes

Regular finishes:- Polished stainless Steel (PSS)- Satin Stainless Steel (SSS)

PVD (Physical vapor Depositor) finishes:- Dark Chocolate (DCH)- Graphite Black (GBL)- Satin Brass (SBR)- Titanium Gold (TGD)- Polished Rose Gold (PRG)- Satin Rose Gold (SRG)

Upon request we can make powder coat for certain items and the lead time is 2 weeks. Please call for cost and qualified items.

Product Warranty

Linnea warrants that its products will be free of de-fects in workmanship and materials, subject to the below conditions:- Failure due to incorrect installation, failure to follow mounting instructions or use of a product in a manner for which it was not intended.- Failure due to abuse, misuse, or accident, any failure due to dismantling, alternation or repair by any person not authorized by Linnea.- Failure due to incorrect maintenance or failure to adhere recommended maintenance procedures.- Normal wear and tear

All stainless steel trims and accessories 10 yrs. including cabinet pulls and knobs

Hinge and entry pulls 5 yrs.

Tubular latch, deadbolt latch, PL latch 3 yrs.and PL mortise lock

Smart lock and smart deadbolt 1 yr.

Mortise locks and cylinders 1 yr.

PVD finishes and powder coat 1 yr.

Maintenance

Stainless Steel grade 304 and specially 316 (marine grade) are resistant to corrosion and rust, though chemical exposure may cause discoloration. We recommend cleaning products with a mild cleaner or dish soap and removing any discoloration with Stainless Steel cleaner and a sponge. For items with PVD finishes, JUST use warm damp cloth to wipe off. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Liability

Linnea makes no other warranty of any kind expressed or implied in respect of Linnea’s products. Linnea’s re-sponsibility is to repair and replace a product subject to a valid warranty claim.

Under no circumstances will Linnea be liable for indi-rect, incidental or consequential costs or damages, including removal and reinstallation costs, freight or los of operations or profits (whether direct or indi-rect), to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Linnea accepts no liability for personal injury or prop-erty damage resulting from failure to adhere to rele-vant installation operation and safety procedures.

PVD stands for physical vapor deposition, a process used to create a very durable, corrosion and tarnish resistant finish.

PVD coatings are harder than coatings applied by the elec-troplating process. The electroplating technology is a low energy form of plating but PVD is a vacuum deposition pro-cess.

The PVD process provides a more uniform deposit, improved adhesion up to six times greater in some cases, wider choice of materials to be deposited, and no harmful chemicals to dispose of.

Therefore, PVD coating is friendlier to the environment. PVD coating looks very similar to electroplating and can be done almost in any metal finishes.

Applying PVD finishes on SS allows our products to be more durable and compatible to other metal finishes available in our industry.

Stainless steel is an iron and carbon alloy. Of the various cat-egories of this composition.

Linnea specializes in austenitic stainless steel, which features higher nickel and chromium content for extra resistance to corrosion and staining.

Type 304 is suitable for nearly all environments, whereas type 316 is aptly nicknamed “marine grade’ for it’s higher rust resistance strength and durability in severe conditions.

Through use, staining, discoloration and rusting is possi-ble and maximum corrosion resistance is achieved through proper maintenance.

The frequency and cost of this maintenance is much lower than many other materials. That’s why stainless steel makes it the first choice in hospitals, kitchens, food and pharmaceuti-cal processing facilities.
