• The EF2000 oil filter system makes hydraulic and lubrication oils as clean or even cleaner than new oil.


EUROPAFILTER – PATENTED TECHNIQUEEuropafilter works based on a cellulose filter insert which is placed in a filterhousing. Unclean oil goes into the housing and a small pressure of between 2-5 bars is built up in order to force the oil through the filter insertand out comes perfectly clean oil.

therefore be used indefinitely, provided it is cleaned properly.

When oil is clean, the capacity to lubricate, wash and other properties, will still be there. They can only disappear when oxidation occur.

ISO REFERENCE MODEL

What does the ISO code mean in oil?

Let's use the example ISO code: 21/19/16

The first number in the code refers to all particles found that were greater than 4 microns in size but were less than 6 microns.

The second number in the code refers to all particles found that were greater than 6 microns in size but were less than 14 microns.

The third number in the code refers to all particles found that were greater than 14 microns in size.

The bad thing is ISO do NOT count particles under 4 microns !

1 µm = 0.000001 m (1 x 10-6 m) = 0.001 mm. The symbol '>' is used to mean 'greater than'. The unit 'µm', pronounced 'micrometer' is commonly referred to as simply 'micron'


ISO code for oil quality?

Þ ISO 4406 does NOT count particles under 4 microns Þ Smaller particles cause faster oxidation due to larger surface (for a specific weight, e.g. 1g of particles)

Do YOU need clean oil in your machine?

• This is how components look like where there is oil oxidation.

• When the oil oxidates, it looses its abilities, and sticky sludge and resin will form in the oil which get stuck all over the machine on the components and it makes the system go jerky, or break down.

• The sticky sludge can also turn into varnish with a hard surface that makes the allready small tolerances even smaller.

Depending on the quality of filtration the particles increases The oil has to be changed. Even that the oil get changed the deposits and resin is still in the system

Plastic injection mouldingOxidation residues like varnish/resin is a very common problem in this industry.
