Black History Month

On Friday 23rd October we will perform our Carnival inspired dances, recite our poems and wear our headdresses. We have been learning about important figures in black culture in our curriculum lessons too, please ask us why we are learning about Black History Month and help

us change the narrative about black history. Please also dress your child in a coloured t-shirt on Friday 23rd October as below. T-shirts mustn’t have any green in them at all as this affects the green screen filming!

GOLDS! Each week we celebrate an amazing achievement from each class. Children are celebrated in

assembly, receive a gold certificate and their name in the newsletter. Please celebrate their learning

at home too!

Parents Evenings

We will be holding a parents evening via zoom in the first week back after half term.

You will be able to sign up for a slot via the clip board on the tables at the front of the school in the morning from Monday 19th October.

You will be emailed the zoom link for your slot on the day of the parents meeting and held in the waiting room until your time slot.

Half term club 5 and under club

Many parents have requested child care during half term for under 5’s. We are trialling this in

October half term, government lockdown decisions pending. Please email

Reception Tours and Information

We are offering Reception tours and information session every Tuesday and

Wednesday at 5pm. This is a time when children are not on site and staff will be able to answer
