ARBOR Study
Concept
Over 1300 Respondents!
Key Findings:
• Nature - Respondents have a high interestin natural components; open space; trailsand habitat.
• Recreation - Outdoor recreation includingwalking / jogging and cycling ranked high, both as activities
• LA River - 84% reported having visited theRiver. Strong interest in River interactionand education.
• Consistent Results - Community prioritiesamong the public are largely consistentwith those of the community immediatelysurrounding the G2 parcel.

Solution may include a combination of
alternatives to achieve appropriate
residential/ecological standards:
• Risk assessment for groundwater, soil and soilgas
• Groundwater: extraction/in-situ treatment intargeted areas
• Soil: excavation; engineered cap/paving(temporary or permanent)
• Soil gas: extraction/venting; vapor mitigationsystem
• Phytoremediation

Water Management - Conclusions
• G2 site provides significant space for multiple benefitsincluding: river access, stormwater management, habitatrestoration, active and passive recreation.
• All onsite stormwater is managed.
• Significant offsite dry weather runoff is also managed.
• Managing significant amounts of offsite wet weatherstormwater reduces use of G2 site for other uses.
