• After asking for audience feedback we found that neither the green nor the blue background particularly suited our soul/jazz genre. It was also difficult to see a product identity and association with the CD cover as the colours were so different, therefore I picked the champagne colour from one of the balloons and chose that for the background.

The song quote was also deemed to be unnecessary and was taking away attention from the artist, the writing was also unclear, and therefore that was deleted and replaced with ‘OUT NOW AT ALL GOOD RECORD SHOPS’. In addition the website was too large on the right hand side and so I made it smaller and took it down to the corner, adding the Twitter and Facebook logo on the bottom.

• After further feedback, we found that the positioning of ‘Goda and the Zoo’ did not work well as it covered her face and so we changed that.

• The ‘Album out now...’ also cut across her arm and the colour scheme did not match. It was not targeting the right audience as it mentions ‘record stores’ even though most music is bought digitally. This made us remove the quote and make the image less cluttered and more simplistic which suited our genre, and also replace the ‘HMV’ logo with an iTunes logo to cater for today’s digital audience.

Lastly we blended some of the imprints of past text on her dress and changed the website from ‘Godamusic’ to ‘GATZ’ in order to match the website on the back cover of the album.
