Furkids Open House A Great Success!

Thank you to everyone whocame out to support our OpenHouse! We had a verysuccessful weekend and arecelebrating:

- 13 adoptions and severalapplications being processed,

- 20 new volunteer applications,and- $6,200 raised!

We are looking for someonewith Ebay knowledge to

Furniture

Pickups Needed: We need

help from time to time withfurniture pick ups for thethrift store. Need eitherpeople with pick up trucks orstrong people to tag along

Craigslist Volunteer

Needed: We need someone

to come once a week to ourthrift store, take pictures,

and then load the picturesand profiles onto Craiglist.

One-third of the revenue was from our amazing bake sale! Thank youto the 27 volunteer bakers for making such incredible treats and to LittleCake Bakery and Piece of Cake for their donations. All of our staff andvolunteers did a fantastic job preparing the cats and us for the OpenHouse! Furkids is very excited to announce the opening

of our eighth adoption center at the Petco inAlpharetta on State Bridge Road. We haveanother fantastic cage-free adoption center toshowcase our kitties. We are thrilled to beexpanding our partnership with Petco, andadding this third location. original seven cats arestabilized and eating on theirown. Tonka, a new case, is stillhospitalized and having trouble keeping his food and medicines down.Noche, got his tube out this week and is doing well.

Thank you to everyone that provided the means to let us carry out ourmission. No organization expects to have such an emergency and weare blessed to have the greatest friends and supporters in you. From allof us at Furkids and our brave cats, thank you for your care andsupport!
