When travelling in wet or slipperyconditions, use care when acceleratingand braking. After driving through deepwater (over 5 cm’s deep) gently apply thebrakes whilst moving to dry them.
When travelling downhill, take extra carenot to use the brakes too much. Excessiveuse can cause the fluid to boil andbecome ineffective. If possible use theengine brake to keep the speed at a steadypace.
Page 7?

1. When the shift lever is in any position other than “P” or “N”, the vehicle maycreep forward even when the accelerator is not pressed.
2. When stationary, even on level ground, apply the foot brake to prevent thevehicle moving.
