I have decided to use the style ‘inner glow’ to make the area around the font darken, so it does not look as plain.

For my mast head ‘Glitz’, I have used two layer styles to make it stand out more and give it an effect. As it is a teen pop magazine, you often see stylish fonts to attract the young target audience. They do not want to see boring fonts, but fonts that are eye catching and colourful.

The other layer style I used is ‘Bevel and Emboss’, this gives the font a 3D effect and ‘softened’ it too.

The font colour is the same shade of pink in the text that says “Can’t wait to tour for our fans” and “JLS” as this shows consistency, and does not make it look like there is too much going on.
