FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK
Easter break Easter is only two weeks away. School will be closed Good Friday 29 March, Easter Monday 1 April and Tuesday 2 April. Students resume on Wednesday 3 April. Interschool Swimming Carnival This coming Friday is the Interschool Swimming Carnival. Notes will be going home today with students who are participating. Assembly Last Friday’s assembly was run by Mrs McDougall’s 2/3 class. It was very entertaining with their version of “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt”. The community song “I’m a Believer” got all the students on their feet singing, with some Year 6/7 boys leading the way. Our school choir had their first performance singing “Just the Way You Are”. Head Boy and Girl We are pleased to announce that Jamie Ward and Milla Curtis are head boy and head girl for 2013. Jamie and Milla are excited about their new roles and we look forward to working closely with them and the remaining student councillors.
Website Our school website is still a work in progress, but has been updated. Please check it out at www.narroginprimaryschool.wa.edu.au The school newsletter is available on the website every Monday afternoon by 4pm. P&C Mega Auction Our auction was held last Saturday, and thankfully the rain held off, which made it a very successful day. Most items were sold, but there are still a few items left. There are; student desks/chairs, 2 office tables and some bookshelves. If you are interested in these items, please contact the school office. Thank you to all the parents/volunteers/students who helped make this auction happen. Your help is always greatly appreciated.
