Ilkley blogger Jim Coulson and his kids regularly explore Yorkshire, uncovering the weird and wonderful stuff families can get up to. In this engaging multimedia celebration, Jim is both stand-up comedian and tour guide. Expect plenty of laughs and fantastic prizes!

FRIDAY 5 OCTOBER

Cruel Britannia? 9.15–10.15pm

Acapella choir Free Range bring you a witty and thought-provoking show exploring British history – the good bits and the bad. Many still sing ‘Rule Britannia’ with gusto. This collection of songs and scenes asks to what extent that’s still appropriate.

All FRINGE events are FREE and take place at Ilkley Playhouse, Weston Road, Ilkley LS29 8DW unless otherwise stated. No need to book in advance – just turn up. Fringe events include performance, spoken word, readings, poetry, music, storytelling and stand-up created by writers and performers connected to the Yorkshire region.
