Four Star Construction was started by Mr. Osborn T. Woods Sr. in the mid-50’s. During 1994 in Kansas City, Missouri Ted Woods reconstituted the company to Four Star LLC., and is the sole owner with 40 years of experience. Mr. Woods worked at Four Star for 20 years when it was owned by his father Osborn T. Woods Sr. Due to his father’s poor health, the original Four Star Construction was closed. Mr. Woods started his own construction company using the name of his father’s former construction business to continue his legacy. He used it as a vehicle to pursue his vocation in construction with less of the constraints of working for other companies; also providing employment for construction workers in his community who were often denied employment opportunities and developed a company that could eventually be passed on to his own children.
