Law 12 says: A direct free kick is awarded to the opposing
team if a player commits any of the following seven offenses in a manner considered by the referee to be careless, reckless or using
excessive force:

Player shows lack of attention or consideration toward opponent when challenging for the ball.

Reckless:Reckless:Lacking caution, rash, wild, dangerous. Syn. Headlong, hasty, irresponsible.Excessive Force:Excessive Force:Far exceeds the necessary use of force toward an opponent.
