The Problems Buffering Solve
1. Saves Time: Buffered anesthetic decreases time of onset from 12-15 minutes to less than 2 minutes on average
2. Reduces Pain: Buffering (adding Sodium Bicarbonate) Lidocaine reduces the acidity and thus the pain and sting from a shot
3. Increases Revenues: With faster and more predictable onset of anesthesia, more patients can be scheduled in a day
4. Improves Efficiency: Reduces steps required for anesthesia and enables multiple shots from one syringe not currently possible

Increases revenues
Makes buffering a no brainer:
$300 - $1,200 increase in potential daily revenue for a cost of $50

Why buffering has been the elusive holy grail
Storage & shelflife • Buffered Lidocaine cannot be stored reliably
• Shelf life is reduced significantly by buffering
Effectiveness • Buffered anesthetic effectiveness decreases after 2 minutes
Cost & complexity • Mixing precise ratio in real time is complicated and time consuming
• All solutions to date have been extremely expensive
Anutra-Anesthetic Delivery and Buffering System
Anutra Dispenser Highlights
• Portable, one-handed, small footprint, purely mechanical
• Reusable, easily cleanable
• Dispenser accurately delivers 0.1ml of Drug A (sodium bicarbonate) by twisting knob one click
Accomplished by precise lead screw and slider mechanisms
• Connected syringe accurately doses 1 ml of Drug B (lidocaine) by pulling plunger one click
• Counter aids clinician in pulling multiple doses into one syringe

St. Renatus-Nasal Spray
• Costs $20 per shot
• Predicting available market of $2.5 billion just in U.S. dental
• Still in FDA process
• Only works on upper maxillaries (excluding 2nd and 3rd
molars)
• 16% needed traditional bail out shot
• Will likely be niche product
