The HistoryIn1892 Milton Florsheim began manufac-turing shoes in a small factory in Chicago. For over 100 years Florsheim has been one of the most famous American manufactu-rers of quality footwear for men. Over the years, thanks to a comprehensive distribu-tion network and its own stores Florsheim has consolidated its presence throughout the world to become a leading brand in the men’s non-athletic footwear market.The Florsheim brand is owned by Weyco Group Inc. of Milwaukee, USA which, in turn, belongs to the Florsheim family that has launched a worldwide expansion pro-gram with special focus on the European market’s enormous potential.

The FactsInternational distribution of Florsheim pro-ducts is done through subsidiaries and dealers throughout the world: Florsheim Australia, Florsheim Asia Pacific, Florsheim Japan, Florsheim Mexico, Florsheim Cana-da. The European branch, Florsheim Sho-es Europe Srl, with its head office in Ca-lenzano (Florence), belongs to the Weyco Group and distributes Florsheim products throughout Europe via a network of agents and distributors. In addition, Florsheim shoes are sold in the company-owned sin-gle brand stores in Milan and Rome and the franchise shops in Brussels, Beirut, Baku-Azerbaijan. Shoes are distributed in Europe from the Florence warehouse and this makes for prompt, precise deliveries. The vast assortment and large quantities on hand permit fast deliveries for re-or-ders as well.
