  • Florida Department of Transportations Unified Basemap RepositoryPurposeTo provide a comprehensive dataset of roadway geometry and attributes accessible over the internet, managed and maintained through documented procedures, standards, partnerships and cooperative agreements Safetea-luThe Florida Unified Roadway Basemap Initiative was conceived as a response to the 2005 SAFETEA-LU (Safe, Accountable, Flexible, and Efficient Transportation Equity Act A Legacy for Users) legislation that placed an increased emphasis on the coordination and sharing of information to support safety analyses StatusNavteq data was distributed through the Unified Basemap Repository June 30th, 2009.

You must have a Florida Department of Transportation Internet Subscriber Account (ISA) and you must have a valid email account at one of our approved domains. You can create your account by clicking the "Create a new Subscriber Account now" located on the UBR Login page. You will be required to submit a UBR profile the first time you login, and you can update your profile information during any session. New UBR subscribers and UBR subscribers that change their Subscriber Account email address are required to verify a security token to gain access to the file repository. The security token will be sent via email to your Subscriber Account email address, and you will be required to enter the token the next time you login to the UBR system.

    Aerial Photo Look Up System

    ***Ovals will highlight portions of the screen upon mouse click:1st click : Zoom to County2nd click: Zoom to City3rd click: Search by Section/Township/Range4th click: Search by Latitude/Longitude5th click: Highlights the toolbar that allows the user to zoom in and out and pan

    *Once youve zoomed into your area of interest, by clicking on the Layers Tab (Click one) you can select display layers to toggle on and off. After making any selection, click the refresh button (Click two) to make any display changes go into effect.*To acquire images, click on the Request Tab (click one), select either polygon or rectangle (click two) and draw the shape on the display to encompass your area of interest. Then click Save (click three)*From here, your selected shape on the display should highlight red. Next youll select the year range of the imagery youd like (click one) and click the submit button (click two)*Youll be shown all the images available that cover the requested area and that fall within the specified dates. Once you log into the system, and select the images youd like to download, youll be brought to the download screen.*At the download screen youll tell the application where on your computer youd like the images downloaded to. Its that easy and that immediate. *
