Geothermal Drilling Fundamentals Certificate New!

Geothermal drillers work in the growing field of alternative energy resources. Geothermal energy heating and cooling systems function by circulating water through a series of loops for heating and cooling systems. Drillers are an integral part of the team that plans and installs these systems in both commercial and residential applications. Geothermal drillers use various drilling techniques to drill the bore holes, install and fuse the loops, and seal the bore holes. The job is physically demanding and drillers must be mechanically adept, physically fit, and able to work in all kinds of weather. They also must have problem-solving skills and work well in a team.
