Urban locations, short game times, small pitches and manageable team sizes make the small

sided game (5v5) more accessible than conventional football (11v11).

5-a-side is played on state-of-the-art, all weather, floodlit, synthetic grass facilities. It is played all

year round, rain or shine, day and night. 5v5 is played by a wide range of demographics including

males, females and juniors across all social and economic backgrounds.

More touches and more opportunities on the ball means the small-sided game fast tracks

football development. The likes of Brazil and Spain accredit much of their international footballing

successes to the small-sided-game.

Fives Futbol is open 7 days a week and offers a variety of products at their 5-a-side

venues. Fives run and manage adult leagues and junior coaching programs (Fives

Soccer School). Fives offer socials slots on weekends and in between league fixtures.

Fives also run tournaments, birthday parties and other events/ functions on their

facilities.

Fives accommodate underprivileged schools and locally run CSI programs during off-

peak times.

The custom-built Fives System is unrivalled globally and has

revolutionised the five-a-side football experience.

It provides a platform for players to create team and player profiles,

view logs, fixtures and results, arrange games and much more. Most

excitingly, it gives Fives’ players up-to-date statistical performance

data so they can play out their dream and enjoy the beautiful game in

all its glory.

The system tracks and attributes career statistics such as games

played, goals scored, win-loss ratios, goals per game, top goal scorer,

and more. Players/ teams also receive ‘achievement’ badges as they

reach different levels in their career. By ‘game-ifying’ their playing

experience, Fives have introduced another dimension to 5v5 and

increased brand loyalty.

From a sponsorship and marketing point, the system databases

every player allowing us to profile, segment and target our market.

Furthermore, sponsors can interact with players through real life

adapted for South Africa by

entrepreneurial prodigy Adam

Fine in 2007 (whilst just 17).

Adam spent the next 4

years flying back and forth

between the UK (where he

was at university) and SA

sourcing investment.

Adam is now 25 and CEO
