August-04-11 Hi Melanie, You would not believe the transformation in our Rescue horses since we started using FISKES for the mosquitoes. It has been truly amazing. We slowly and patiently worked with each horse to get close enough to rub on the salve as you had suggested. They were desperate for relief from the horrible mosquito conditions. We have horses that have not allowed us to physically touch them due to their past encounters with people. The hide continued to dry up and fall off; I peeled down to fresh hide hoping the healing process would start. Within a few days I noticed a great improvement and started leaving the wound uncovered and just cleaned and put Fiskes on it daily. Every week it looked less raw and the edges started showing signs of healing. Now after eight weeks, the hind is even starting to how signs of new hair growth. Unfortunately April 9th … As near as we could figure from looking at the way the barb wire fence was damaged, we think that Oakie got cornered and tried to jump over the fence… His one back leg was the one that the wire cut and peeled the hind down. It wasn't till the next day when we found him and by then the edges of the flap had already started to dry and curl under so there was no way that we could have stitched him. We brought him in and cleaned and wrapped the leg and put him on antibiotics but still after a week the cut was mucky and soaking the bandages. Hello Melanie : I did find the pictures of Chester’s Sore Feet. Vet is calling them Inter Digital Cysts. This dog also has Thyroid Problems and is taking drugs for this. We had many Meds from the Vet , trying to clear up his foot problems. Nothing worked. They changed his food many times, he is now on a No Grain / Lamb & Oatmeal food . His feet were very sore and we were searching for something to help. I sort of stumbled on your Ointment one day at Signature Glass, am very pleased at how it has helped this dog. Will certainly continue to use it , though will shop at the Tack Shop or ShurGain from now on. The Cysts developed in clusters between all of his toes, they were very sore. We used the ointment 2 or 3 times per day on all the toes. At the moment he has just one small cyst on a back foot! We still apply the ointment to all feet , every day between every toe. Again, we have been amazed with your product. My husband and I run Earth Art Cashmere & Design which is currently the largest Cashmere goat farm in Canada. Presently, we have a
