GETTING TO KNOW SEÑORITA SLIFER

HIGH SCHOOL I went to Pennridge High School (Bucks

County) and graduated in 2008. In high school I played soccer, ran

track and was apart of the snowboarding club.

COLLEGE I went to Duquesne

University, located in Pittsburgh.

I studied Spanish Education and graduated in May 2012.

MASTER’SI completed my Master of Arts in

Educational Technology from Michigan State in August 2013.

STUDYING ABROAD I studied abroad in Salamanca, Spain for 5

weeks the summer before my senior year.

WHILE I WAS STUDYING ABROAD IN SPAIN... I visited many cities in Spain: Madrid,

Ávila, Alberca, Segovía and Toledo.

VISITING OTHER COUNTRIES WHILE STUDYING ABROAD

I went to Rome, Italy and Lisbon, Portugal for weekend trips.

THIS SUMMER I…

I have one sister, Jenna. She is 23 and recently finished her Master’s at Philadelphia University.

I have two cats and one dog. My favorite hobbies are hanging out with

my friends, snowboarding, playing soccer and shopping.

My favorite T.V. shows are Modern Family, The Americans and American Horror Story.

My favorite music artist is Sam Smith.My birthday is cinco de mayo.This is my 4th year of teaching.
