Judging will be done by our residents by secret ballot. All Finley Farms residents are encouraged to attend and taste and help us judge! We also have events for the kids: A cowboy/cowgirl dress-up contest and Stick Horse races so bring your best recipe and secret ingredients, ten-gallon hat and your broom, and we’ll see y’all there! NEW BOARD MEMBERS & TIME CHANGE!We would like to welcome back on the HOA Board: Sal LaTona and RebeccaField. Both were elected by a majority vote to their second terms at the An-nual Board Meeting January 20, 2012. Unfortunately, due to recent changesat his workplace Sal has asked to leave the Board as he can no longer makethe meetings. Thank you both for your time and service! The Annual Meeting was also a potluck. There was no Executive Session held.
Meeting times were also changed to 7:30pm, third Thursday of the month.
Many lost dogs have been found in the last few months, especially near the tot lotpark off of Columbus. Most of these dogs are well-groomed and well-mannered, but without a collar/tag they cannot be returned to their homes.
If you have a dog, please consider a nametag on their collar as often they arefound at night and cannot be taken to a vet to have their microchip checked.
To help other homeowners many people have also been posting pictures of founddogs on our Facebook page at Finley Farms South - Gilbert, AZ.
And a special “Thank you” to all of you who have taken home, fed and comfortedour best friends until they could be reunited with their families!

At the Annual Board Meeting, our land-scape Maintenance Company, ELS, announced they would be donating 30new trees to our community and plant-ing them free of charge. Thanks ELS!

Walter Raymond Dollbaum, Sr.A long-term friend and Board Member serving our community diedJanuary 5, 2012.
Walt served for years on the HOA Board and chaired the Archi-tectural Committee since 2006 until the day he died. He knew how toget things done and often remarked how we could get more people involved, become a friendlier Board, and go to homeowners directlyto solve problems.
Services were held at Mary Magdalene Catholic Church and Walt wasburied at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Mesa. Walt is survived by hiswife, Connie and his 7 children.
