BIOGRAPHY
Bad 40, a/k/a 40 Glocc is no stranger to controversy. As a native of Colton, in California's Inland Empire; a
neighborhood affectionately known as "the zoo", it kind of comes with the territory. You can choose either to eat,
or be eaten and 40 Glocc stays well fed. Using his experience as a solo artist under Empire Records/BMG, 40 Glocc
dropped "The Jackal" (Ft Bad Azz, Tray Dee, Ras Kass, Kurupt, Mac Minister & Dr Dre) in 2003. It was after this
album he decided to part ways with Empire Music and joined with Mobb Deep’s Label, Infamous Records under G-
Unit Records. In 2006 he began his European tour with Mobb Deep & G-Unit. Soon after released Outspoken 1
(2006), Outspoken 2 (2007), Outspoken 3 (2008), That New Nigga (2008) and I am Legend (2009). During this time
40 Glocc has also amassed a respectable roster of artists from around his way and launched his own label ZOOLIFE
Entertainment; whose first project was "Concrete Jungle". The album dropped nationwide on December 8th, 2009
with digital distribution through Urban Music Alliance (UMA) and hit store shelves shortly after in January 2010.
"Concrete Jungle" is jam packed with music that shows 40 Glocc and Zoo Life are doing their part to hold up the
legacy of West Coast Gangsta Rap. It features songs with ZooLife's Sun, Village Boo, Lil Boo, Tip Toe, Ken Bib, Locie
Loc and Yacc as well as 40's female counterpart, Gail Gotti (Night In Gail Entertainment.) Concrete Jungle featuresthe Village Boo and Tip Toe video WHICH dropped ln MID October; it can be seen here on YouTube
http://www.youtube.com/user/BIGGBAD40. The single “Grindin” has reached well over 350k internet views and is
currently receiving spins on MTV Jams, Music choice On Demand and more local TV music stations across the
nation. 2010 will see 40 drop his much anticipated solo project “New World Agenda”. You can also expect
involvement in more film roles. His first role was in the 2009 teen comedy, "Miss March", which opened earlier this
year and hit number 10 in the box office. The film is now available on DVD and Pay per View.
Little do many of his fans know, Big Bad 40 also has a “True Hollywood” story. Homeless throughout his teenage
years, forced to raise himself then finding a home within the street community formed a man filled with musical
passion and a ton of stories to tell. Today as CEO of Zoo Life Entertainment, 40 Glocc is making it his mission to
unveil the reality aspect of street life and the times he and his Zoo Life Family have experienced. “Ignorance is
maintained by a lack of knowledge; I am here to educate the masses for the sole purpose of providing solutions for
communities all across the nation. I want the people to know I understand their story because of where I camefrom; Zoo Life is the voice of the streets. My form of expression may appear harsh to some but the public identifies
that it’s built from being a survivor. We can no longer let any color hold us back from fulfilling our purpose in life,
find your destiny,” says the Big Bad 40.
Multiple media outlets from MTV.com, XXL Magazine, and Worldstarhiphop.com to Sirius Satellite radio shows
with Angela Yee and DJ Kay Slay all have saluted the strides made by the ambitious businessman. With steady
cameras and blogs all watching, he is ready and set to penetrate the industry with a ton of musical information. Big
Bad 40 strategically set off the fall off with his commercial radio Hit single “Damn” featuring Ray J; also “Welcome
to California” with remixes from major west coast artists like E-40, Xzibit, Beeda Weeda, Messy Marv, Yuckmouth,
Chop Black, Brotha Lynch, Mistah Fab, Ras kass, Lil Boo, Village Boo, Turf Talk, Kurupt, Jayo, The Jaka, Kam, Mc8,
Hot Dollar, Taje, Crooked I and a few more. Music channels such as Music Choice, AOL Music, and MTV Jams
consistently give the talented Big Bad 40 air time; just to name a few. During the 4th quarter of 2010 Big Bad 40
GLOCC's video "One Day at a time" made heavy rotation & contest placement on MTVU & BET's 106 & Park. Thequickly emerging Artist/CEO’s radio play in the U.S., Canada & overseas markets are steadily increasing every day.
To listen to Big Bad 40's music is to listen to an intensified narration and remix of what he considers to be his very
own rags to riches story. Please visit www.40GLOCC.com to stay current on 40 Glocc’s latest & upcoming projects.
