Thank you for choosing a Brunner high-quality product of the series fina conference. This modular conference table system can be deployed in a wide variety of settings and may be flexibly extended. A majority of table components gets delivered already preassembled, allowing for fast and uncomplicated final assembly. The table components only need to be connected and bolted together. This assembly guide will assist you in assembling your fina conference table system with ease and convenience.

Basic Principle: Mounting a Table Frame

Double-column table frame (without additional cable duct braces)

Double-column table frame (with two additional cable duct braces)

Single-column table frame (suitable for cable duct deployment)

The following three exploded views illustrate the construction principle of various table frames. The first illustration shows the position of individual components of a double-column frame without deployment of an additional cable duct underneath the table top. The second illustration shows the double column frame featuring two additional braces. These serve for mounting the cable duct underneath the table top. The third illustration shows the construction of a single-column frame, optionally equipped with or without a cable duct.

Your fina conference table will either rest on a T- or a Y-base frame with two extensions each, or on a central-column frame. When you receive shipment, the bases are already pre-assembled.

· This assembly guide wants to support you by providing standard procedures for the assembly of your fina conference table system.

· Please follow all work steps described when assembling all table variants and versions.

· The tools recommended for assembly are mere suggestions on the part of Brunner GmbH.

· For assembly, please exclusively use the materials provided in the shipment.

· Brunner GmbH excludes any warrantee concerning damage incurred during assembly.

Tighten the four pre-assembled cylinder head bolts M 6 x 20. Recommended torque: 10–13 Nm. Use cordless screwdriver with Allen key(R) insert size 5 to slowly and carefully tighten until stop. Manually check tight fit of bolt using Allen key® size 5. Attention: If you tighten the bolt too much, it may break.

Assemble the opposite part in likewise manner, fastening the second lower brace. (Does not apply to central-column frame.)Check all fastening points.

Mounting the lower brace to the lateral part or the base frame, respectively (Only for tables featuring an lower brace. For assembly of tables without a lower brace, please follow step 3 onwards.)Insert lower brace to the stop; use plastic mallet as necessary.

step-bY-step assemblY

Before starting assembly of the table, please select the right frame type from the variant overview (pp. 4–7).The frame type illustration will show you which crosslinks have to be connected to lateral parts and table top.The lateral parts of the frame have already been pre-assembled.

step 2

Place table frame on its feet.After tightening and checking all fastening points, now please turn over the table frame carefully and put it on its feet as preparation for the following assembly steps.

step 3

Fastening the upper rectangular braces to the frame.Mount upper rectangular braces to the outer sides of the table top support andtighten, using the cylinder bolts M 8 × 10 (included).

Recommended torque: 20–22 Nm. Use ratchet with Allen key size 6. Check all fastening points.

step 4

Mounting the central brace Place the central table top support in the position provided for it. In all frame variants, the braces get bolted to the outside of the top support. In case of a double-column frame featuring a cable duct, two additional rectangular braces get mounted on the inside of the top support (cf. page 3).Position the top support on top and bolt to the rectangular braces.

Mount the support beam to the braces using cylinder bolts M 8 x 10 in the respective brace bores. Recommended torque: 20–22 Nm.The mounting bolts are included in the delivery.

Mounting the table top to the table framePosition the table top on top of the frame. Adjust all sides according to the mounting points. Mount the table top to the frame using the flanged button head bolts M 6 × 25.

Recommended torque: 5–7 Nm.Use ratchet with Allen key size 4. The mounting bolts are included in the delivery.

Mounting the cable ductFor mounting the cable duct, open the two clamping brackets with the cable duct pre-mounted, and then hinge them into the rectangular brace from the outside.

Horizontal cable ducts

use a cable duct for horizontal cabling. The cable duct is available for table lengths of 200cm and more. There are several module boxes to choose from. If you have decided on buying an appropriate module box, this will be delivered pre-mounted to the cable duct. If you ordered a table featuring a double-column frame, two additional braces need to be mounted in the centre prior to mounting the cable ducts, as shown in the exploded view on page 3.

eleCTRIFICATIon AnD CABlInG

For the electrification of your fina conference table, you have a choice of five profile boxes: All models get delivered with a 3m power cable included. For the cabling of your fina conference table system, you may select from the following vertical and horizontal cable duct options.

Closing the clamping bracketsNow close the two clamping brackets with the cable duct pre-mounted.

Positioning the clamping bracketsNow, hinge the interlocking clamping brackets included in the delivery into the opposite rectangular brace with the cable duct pointing outside, at the same height as the already mounted clamping brackets with the pre-mounted cable duct.


step 4

Closing the cable ductWhen clamping the cable duct shut, the opposite interlocking clamping brackets must be at the same height as the latch of the cable duct, so that the latter can be bolted shut by turning the latches from below the table.

Positioning the cablesSimply insert the cables into the brackets pointing outside. You can lead up to 3 cables along the cable duct using the clamping brackets.

Glossy chromed cable faceplateA glossy chromed cable faceplate serves as vertical cable guidance. This duct will guide the cables from the cable duct or the clamping brackets along the foot vertically to the floor. After positioning the cables inside the faceplate, the latter is fastenend without any tools at the table leg, using strong magnets.

Electrification and Cabling

Vertical cable ducts

A glossy chromed cable faceplate or, alternatively, a flexible fabric tube may be used as vertical cable ducts. The glossy chromed faceplate will guide the cables along the column, directly to the foot of the table frame. Visually, the faceplate perfectly matches the glossy chromed frame. Alternatively, you can use a fabric tube to lead several cables down to the floor or a wall or floor outlet close by, respectively. The fabric tube bundles the cables and makes it possible to lead them flexibly along the floor.


Flexible fabric tubeAs an alternative to the faceplate, there’s a flexible fabric tube for guiding cables from the centre of the table vertically down to the floor. Before connecting the cables, these have to be threaded manually into the fabric tube and pulled through it.

18 . 19Electrification and Cabling

Two-sided cable lidYou may operate the two-sided cable lid easily and conveniently from two sides of the table thanks to its innovative closing mechanism. Slightly lifting the lid allows for easy opening and closing. If necessary, thread the cable endings through the open longitudinal edges to the table top.

Attention: Please make sure that no cables get caught between the lateral edges and the table top when closing the lid.

operatinG tHe cable lid

A two-sided cable lid allows for electrification of your fina conference table system. It provides fast and uncomplicated access to your module box. By lifting one of the two outer edges, the cable lid can be opened to both sides. After connecting the cables, you can conveniently thread the cable endings through either side to the table top. In order to ensure reliable operation, please make sure that no cables get caught in the closing mechanism on the sides or below the cover when closing the cover.

cleaninG tHe steel and aluminium frame

In cases of normal wear, it is sufficient to wipe the metal surfaces using a dry duster. Paticularly dirty patches may be cleaned using a normal anti-grease all-purpose cleaner. Matte patches on the glossy chrome surface may be polished using chrome polish. However, by no means may you use abrasive cleaning agents or toilet or sanitary cleaners. The glider surfaces must be cleaned regularly, removing dirt or residue.

cleaninG table tops in General

It is generally recommended to use a moist, no-lint cloth, moistened with pure water without any additives, cleaners or furniture polish. Next, please dry the table top with a clean, soft cloth. By no means must you use polishes contai-ning silicone, or harsh cleaning agents containing ammonia, alcohol or plasticisers. The same applies to abrasive cleaning agents containing scouring additives.

CARe InSTRuCTIonS

It is particuarly important to clean the surfaces of your fina conference table system in a careful and adequate manner, in order to keep this ideal state for as long as possible. The following care instructions are only recommendations. Brunner GmbH does not accept any liability for surface damages due to inappropriate cleaning.

cleaninG HiGH pressure laminate table top surfaces

Clean the surface with warm water, then dry it with a tissue or a soft cloth. If there’s any dirt that cannot be removed in this way, please use household detergents like laundry detergent, or liquid or solid soap. These must not contain any abrasive ingredients, since those agents may lead to changes in gloss and cause scratches. Depending on the level of staining, it may be recommendable to let the cleaning agent act on the surface for a while as appropriate. Then, please rinse with water and dry. Please remove all cleaning agent residues in order to prevent streaking.

Please do not use any furniture polish or cleaners containing wax, since these tend to fill the structured HPL surface and build up a sticky, unappealing film which also attracts and binds dirt.

cleaninG oak and Walnut Veneer table tops

Regular cleaning should take place using a soft, no-lint duster. In cases of normal wear, it is sufficient to wipe the surfaces clean of dirt once or twice a year using a moist cloth. For moistening, use water and a small amount of standard, mild, anti-grease detergent. Next, dry the still moist surface with a soft, clean cloth, moving it in the direction of the wood grain. Please avoid intense grinding, since this might lead to gloss discrepancies in matte surfaces.

After longer use and intense wear and tear, the lacquer finish surface may be cleaned with a standard furniture polish. Please always follow the valid manufacturer’s usage instructions, and if necessary check for compatibility first at an unobtrusive part of your fina conference table system.
