Page 3: Filling the ‘gap’ powerpoint

BY FINDING… THE IDEAL CUSTOMER!

Page 4: Filling the ‘gap’ powerpoint

AFTER ASKING MYSELF - AND A COUPLE OF MY FRIENDS - A FEW QUESTIONS LIKE…

WHAT WAS THE NICHE THAT NEEDED TO BE FILLED…

EXACTLY WHO IS MY TARGET CUSTOMER...

AND

Page 5: Filling the ‘gap’ powerpoint

- AND FINALLY , WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO GET OUT OF EATING ORGANIC JAVA RAIZ?

Page 6: Filling the ‘gap’ powerpoint

The average person eats far less fruit than is recommended by the U.S. Dietary Guidelines for Americans. A portable, readily available fruit, such as California Raisins, is ideal to help fill this gap.

Page 9: Filling the ‘gap’ powerpoint

This ‘little’ fruit has multiple benefits that help to maintain a healthy lifestyle. California Raisins are:

fat and cholesterol freenaturally low in sodiumpacked with antioxidant protection for heart and

colon healtha great addition to the day’s total intake of dietary

fiber and potassiumknown to contain compounds that may inhibit

growth of the bacteria associated with tooth and gum disease

ideal source of all-natural energy.

NOT TO MENTION

Page 10: Filling the ‘gap’ powerpoint

According to nutrition experts, eating 8 or more and as many as 13 fruits and vegetables a day can help reduce the risk of developing certain types of cancer, heart disease, stroke, obesity, diabetes and birth defects.

AND THEN WE CAN ADD…

Page 11: Filling the ‘gap’ powerpoint

ONCE WE HAVE THAT ANSWERED THEN WE HAVE TO ASK HOW WE ‘RE GOING TO BEST ~‘STAND OUT’ FROM THE CROWD?~

Page 12: Filling the ‘gap’ powerpoint

MAYBE A HEALTHY COOKBOOK COMPANY?

OR A COMPANY THAT SELLS ORGANIC TRAIL-MIX

SO…WHY NOT PARTNER UP WITH ANOTHER COMPANY?

Page 13: Filling the ‘gap’ powerpoint

MAYBE A HEALTHY SNACK BOX COMPANY…

OR A COFFEE BUSINESS OF SOME SORT?

Page 14: Filling the ‘gap’ powerpoint

AND THEN IT CAME TO ME. A PARTNERSHIP WITH A COMPANY THAT SHARES THE SAME DESIRES AS JAVA RAIZ TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT, NATURE AND ANIMALS AND SUPPORTS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS.

Page 15: Filling the ‘gap’ powerpoint

THE NATURE COMPANY PROVIDES EXCITING ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS TO ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS. THROUGH A COMBINATION OF LIVE ANIMAL DEMONSTRATIONS, HANDS-ON EXPLORATORY ACTIVITIES, MUSIC, AND PUPPETRY THE NATURE COMPANY’S ANIMAL WORKSHOPS WILL DELIGHT CHILDREN AND TEACHERS.

And Java Raiz will be providing natural energy to the students, especially for the ‘afternoon drowsy-time.’

Page 17: Filling the ‘gap’ powerpoint

We develop a plan were each week a number of questions are posted in the cafeteria at all the schools in the district , of course the questions could be progressively harder depending on the age of the students being targeted, i.e. grade school vs. high school.

Page 18: Filling the ‘gap’ powerpoint

WHEN THE STUDENTS HAVE FOUND THE ANSWERS AND TURNED THEM IN TO THE DESIGNATED TEACHER/PERSONNEL THEY WILL GET TO HAVE THEIR POUCH REFILLED – FREE!

Page 19: Filling the ‘gap’ powerpoint

EVERY WEEK THERE WILL BE NEW QUESTIONS POSTED. THIS WILL ACCOMPLISH:

Page 20: Filling the ‘gap’ powerpoint

WE COULD POST HEALTH FACTS AND STATISTICS IN THE LUNCH ROOM SO WHEN THE STUDENTS PICK UP THEIR PACKAGE OF RAISINS AT THE BEGINNING, AS WELL AS EACH CONSECUTIVE WEEK, THEY CAN READ FUN FACTS PORTRAYED THROUGH PICTURES OF ANIMALS AND NATURE.

Page 21: Filling the ‘gap’ powerpoint

THE STUDENTS WILL NOT ONLY GET THE OPPORTUNITY TO EAT HEALTHIER SNACKS, THEY WILL BE LEARNING HOW IMPORTANT IT IS FOR THEM TO EAT HEALTHIER. IT IS A KNOWN FACT THAT ‘SNACKING’ IS THE NUMBER 1 CAUSE OF OBESITY!

Page 22: Filling the ‘gap’ powerpoint

The student will be gaining knowledge by answering the questions and in the process, will be learning additional facts about nature and the environment.

Awareness = Knowledge = Action.

Page 23: Filling the ‘gap’ powerpoint

AT THE END OF THE SEMESTER WE WOULD ARRANGE FOR THE NATURE

COMPANY TO COME OUT TO THE SCHOOLS AND GIVE THE KIDS A

‘’HANDS ON” PRESENTATION ON THE ENVIONMENT, ANIMALS AND NATURE!

Page 24: Filling the ‘gap’ powerpoint

There would be a program on awareness of the three (4) R’s! http://earth911.com/recycling/ Recycle, Reduce, Reuse and Rebuy!
