What does Financial Independence Group do?FIG helps advisors with all facets of their business. We help you get in front and stay in front of your ideal clients. Ensuring that you have all the tools, products and strategies necessary to implement a plan for that client. We are there to look over and process the business, and get the policy in the client’s hands as quickly as possible. FIG strives for excellence in all we do and are proud to partner with each and every one of you.

How does FIG do this?We believe that any Marketing Organization should be able to provide 4 things. 1)Proven marketing platforms to get you in front of and stay in front of ideal clients. 2) Incentive Programs that reinvest back into your business as well as provide venues for you to grow your business. 3) A Marketing and Creative team to assist with the selection and implementation of a marketing plan to run your business like a business. 4) Provide top quality service and support to you as our valued client the independent financial advisor. At FIG we do all of these things and we look forward to partnering with you to achieve the ultimate level of success.

Drawn into the financial services industry by a request from a friend who needed to motivate his sales force, Dr. William H. Cain began inspiring agents and advisors. Armed with a degree in Speech, a Master in Theology and a doctorate in Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro proved advantageous in training and instruction. Dr. Cain always surmised that salespeople needed motivation and that this stimulation is crucial to their success.

Dr. Cain launched his own agency in 1976 and Financial Independence Group was born. Ericka, his wife and partner joined him in 1987 and helped to nurture the company from a small MGA concentrating on Medicare supplements and health products to a national marketing company.

FIG made a monumental step upward when Bo Johnson was hired as Chief Marketing Officer in 1997. Bo’s vision and enthusiasm helped the company skyrocket from a small company to one of the finest and well-known marketing companies in the country. Bo Johnson built the marketing department, including annuity, life, long-term care and securities and for twelve years he was instrumental in establishing infrastructure at FIG headquarters. The company lost a vital and integral family member when Bo Johnson lost his battle with cancer in 2009. Bo’s essence and philosophy continue to be indispensable qualities in the nature of how business is conducted at FIG.

Marketing Reimbursemen t

Your hard work will be rewarded through some of the top Incentive Programs in the industry, including exclusive trips, marketing reimbursement, referral compensation, personal profit sharing and more.

Personal Profi t SharingWrite any annuity, life, long term care, or disability business with us and we will provide you with marketing reimbursements. FIG believes in reinvesting back into your business in one of two ways. You will have a choice of earning marketing points through your FIG production along all lines of business. Or you can choice to receive the producer’s paycheck, which is paid out on a quarterly basis. This reimbursement can be used to enhance your business by providing access to proven successful marketing campaigns such as direct mail, seminars, whitepapers, advertising, radio, PR and more.

We realize that we cannot be successful without our agents, and we want to reward you for your production. You earn Personal Profit Sharing points based on your calendar year paid production through FIG’s approved carriers. Every $1,000,000 in paid indexed annuity production or $100,000 of target life/LTC/DI premium qualifies you for one Personal Profit Sharing point, partial points will not be earned. FIG will total your points at the end of the year, and we will pay you $1,000 for each point that you have earned. On top of that, we will allow you to carry over your points for 3 years. To qualify for PPS you must have 3 million in paid production through FIG in each calendar year.

DISCLAIMER: FIG reserves the right to remove any producer from the program at any time and for any reason. You must be an agent in good standing in order to receive any payout earned. This program is for the writing agent at TOP GA contracts only. FIG reserves the right to change or discontinue this program at any time. This program excludes any business with Allianz Preferred, Annexus, Midland, and the Forethought 150 and ForeCare products. All fixed annuity and immediate annuity production with all carriers will count at 1/3 credit towards this program. Example: $3,000,000 in paid fixed annuity production will equate to 1 Personal Profit Sharing Point. Asset-Based LTC premium will count towards this program. Base Premium for Asset-Based LTC Premium counts at 100% towards CPC credit, while single premium asset-based LTC premium will count at 10% towards CPC credit. In addition, traditional LTC premium with Kemper and MassMutual only will count towards this program at 100% towards CPC credit. This program was created in 2010. Any production prior to January 1st of 2010 will not count towards this program. Payouts will go out by the end of February on previous year’s production.

We are building a great marketing company in the same manner that you are building your practice, one client at a time. We hope that FIG’s unique service experience, along with our sales consultants and marketing programs, will give you reason to refer advisors to us. Introduce a fellow advisor to FIG, and YOU will be paid on their production for as long as they are an agent in good standing with FIG.

You “bet” we had a great time at our stay in Las Vegas and enjoyed the finest cuisine in Napa Valley and New York City. Prague offered a unique historical adventure and New Zealand will be a once in a lifetime experience.

REFERRAL PROGRAM DISCLAIMER: To participate in FIG’s Referral Program, the agent must be actively contracted with FIG. The enrollment form must be returned to participate in the program. Reimbursements and rewards will be distributed to the agent only after the production amount is paid. This program is for the writing agent at TOP GA contracts only. **Agents participating in the CPR marketing program are not eligible for FIG value added incentive programs or marketing reimbursements, including the Referral Program.
