Launching Cherry Vimto with theProm Rescue CentreNational launch focusing on the trend for the lavish expenditure on teen proms. Parents despairover cost (Daily Mail Headline) and teens at a loss what to wear: Cherry Vimto to the rescue withpartnership with Mizz Magazine and a micro site devoted to all things Prom. Eco-chic shopping with Peaches GeldofPlastic bags are so last season. This campaign put the chic into eco and saw the first ever reusable bagdesigned for a shopping centre. Fido asked Peaches Geldof to create the design to support anenvironmental cause close to her heart.

This campaign resulted in masses of coverage, sales of the bag funded the promotion and raisedmoney for Peaches’ turtles charity and attracted a 10% increase in footfall against expected lossto another shopping centre opening.

For the girl who has everything andwants to keep it that wayFido teamed up with Harvey Nichols to create the world’s first Pre-nup package to launch a new familylaw firm. Timed to coincide with a landmark legal ruling, the PR generated widespread national mediacoverage including an interview on the BBC’s One Show.

This campaign was selected to appear in Marketeer Magazine’s Tap into the News Agenda feature and PRWeek’s campaign gallery. It has also directly resulted in the client landing an international landmark case.

Shopping is Good for youThis campaign presented a positive story for retailers to counter the downbeat mood of the creditcrunch. Fido worked with the local NHS PCT to get shoppers to sign up to a fitness programme.Manchester University compiled a factual report on how many calories can be burnt whilst shopping.This story hit the national headlines and created talkability across broadcast and social media,including a discussion on BBC Breakfast.

Danni vs Cheryl in the name of fashion

Fido’s campaign for a national online fashion retailer capitalised on the Cheryl vs Dannistyle rivalry to create a campaign that delivered masses of national coverage, viral buzzand an unprecedented surge in online sales. The limited edition T-shirts also becamethe best selling items on the website during X-Factor.
