Evergreen Revolution

nnnnnnnnnnnn

There can be no more business as usual. World food is in crisis. In the last 2 years we have consumed more food than we produced. Per acre production of food grains is decreasing. Soil condition is deteriorating. Nutrients and micro-organisms are disappearing from the soil. Horticulture crops are coming under attack from new pests and diseases. GMOs (e.g. Bt cotton) are causing serious problems. Ground water supplies are being depleted. Acid rain, ozone holes. Pollution in atmosphere, soil and water.Radiation, man-made and natural.

All these combine to destroy the top six inches of soil on which our life depends.

n

n

Satellite pictures show that trees in the Amazon rainforest are sick. If they die there will not be enough oxygen to breathe.

Scientists have no solution.

No modern technology exists to deal with this multi-sided attack

n

n

Which technology can improve soil, purify water, neutralize pollution in the atmosphere, improve the functioning ability of earthworms and honey bees while simultaneously increasing per acre production of harvest?

The answer lies in the super technology of Vruksha Ayurveda which is now presented as -

Documentation

Has anyone seen the results of this technology in modern times? Successful application of Homa Organic Farming has been documented by agronomical engineers connected with the Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Peru, in South America, on all crops grown in the Amazon region, on 3,000 acres simultaneously with observations for seven months.

Translation from original Spanish document signed and sealed by the Ministry of the Presidency-INADE (National Institute of Development) Republic of Peru,

Yes!

The Headquarters of the Zone Leoncio Prado-Padre AbadCertifies:

That since 7 months ago, in the area of Alto Huallaga, an Organic and Ecological technique called HOMA THERAPY, is being applied in the rejuvenation of the crops of the region, achieving to substantially reduce the existence of different pathogenic agents. As a consequence, plagues and diseases were eradicated, the yield of the harvest was increased, the fruit grew healthy, with better color, taste, weight, texture, etc. Since many years, efforts have been made to overcome the critical situation regarding plant health, with methods such as: cultural control, chemical control, biological control, legal control, etc., without having achieved any success.

In the zone of Alto Huallaga to date we have established 30 modules and more are being installed in agricultural areas in which HOMA THERAPY is being applied, each one with 40 hectares. This makes a total of about 1,200 hectares. All of them are under an integrated system of perennial crops such as plantain, bananas, papaya, cocoa, citrus, avocados, coffee, tea, star fruit, mango, etc. These are combined with annual crops of a short vegetative cycle such as rice, corn, soya bean, nuts, sesame, etc., and complemented with apiculture and cattle rearing.

We give full support to Dr. Gloria Guzman Mendez in her capacity as expert and the person in charge of AGRICULTURAL HOMA THERAPY in our area of influence and we have considered to give total support to the farmers who have been working in the application of HOMA THERAPY because with their work, they are making a contribution in favor of agriculture, of the conservation of soils, forests and the preservation of the environment in the area of Alto Huallaga.

Benefits of Organic Farming

Scientists Promote Organic Farming

1. Energy savingsStudies over the past three years have shown that, on average, organically grown crops use 25 per cent less energy than their chemical cousins.2. Reduction in greenhouse gasesThe production of ammonium nitrate fertiliser, which is indispensable to conventional farming, produces vast quantities of nitrous oxide a greenhouse gas with a global warming potential some 320 times greater than that of CO .23. Water savingAgriculture is officially the most thirsty industry on the planet, consuming a staggering 72 per cent of all global freshwater. Organic farming uses much less water.4. Globalisation problems avoidedThe average meal in the west travels more than 1,000 km from farm to kitchen. The organic movement was born out of a commitment to provide local food for local people.5. Pesticides eliminatedThe World Health Organization estimates that there are at least 20,000 accidental deaths worldwide each year from pesticide exposure and poisoning. Organic systems encourage a variety of natural methods to enhance soil and plant health, in turn reducing incidences of pests, weeds and disease, and thereby eliminating the need for pesticides.6. Smaller environmental impactThe trend towards intensive farming is largely responsible for negative ecosystem impacts over recent years. Organic farms actively encourage bio-diversity in order to maintain soil fertility and aid natural pest control. 7. Improved nutrition and healthA 2001 study found that organic crops contained higher levels of 21 essential nutrients than their conventionally grown counterparts, including iron, magnesium, phosphorus and vitamin C. The organic crops also contained lower levels of nitrates, which can be toxic to the body.8. Seed-savingThe FAO estimates that 75 per cent of the genetic diversity of agricultural crops has been lost over the past 100 years. Only about 150 species are cultivated on any significant scale worldwide. Traditionally, farming communities have saved seeds year-on-year, both in order to save costs and to trade with their neighbours. 9. Jobs protectionThere is no doubt, worldwide farming is in crisis. Thousands of farmers leave the land every day all over the world. Organic farming reverses this trend. By its nature, organic production relies on labour-intensive management practices.10. SustainabilityAgro-chemical farming is totally unsustainable. Farmers of India are known as “the farmers of 40 centuries.” Of course, they were Organic farmers.

International Assessment of Agricultural Science and Technology for Development (IAASTD) Report published in April, 2008 after 4 years of

research by a team of 400 scientists.Conclusion:

Small-scale organic farms are the way of the future.

Indigenous and local knowledge will play just as important a role as formal science.

Business as usual is not an option.

GMO crops are a big disaster.

Chemical agriculture is a major cause of global warming.

Why Homa Organic Farming?

n

n

n

Due to hybrid and compound pollution some western Scientists think that we have reached a stage which may be termed 'Irreversible'.

Organic farming methods which used to give wonderful results even fifteen years ago now fail to do so, due to hybrid pollution.

The solution is:

HOMA Organic Farming Nutrition through Atmosphere

Homa injects nutrients into the atmosphere to prevent disease and bring natural predators.

Modern science speaks only of soil analysis and water analysis but not about the atmosphere.

Ancient science of HOMA Therapy states that more than 75% of nutrition to plants and soil comes through the atmosphere.

So if you make the atmosphere more nutritious and fragrant by HOMA, a type of protective coating comes on plants and diseases, fungi, pests, etc, do not thrive.

Plants' capacity to breathe increases and the toxic effect of choking to death due to atmospheric toxins is eliminated.

Quantity of harvest per acre will be greater than that grown by any method known to modern science, whether it is organic, chemical or cultural.

The harvesting time is reduced and therefore the interest the farmer has to pay on loans from banks will be reduced.

The taste of HOMA produce is better than that produced by any other method for the same variety.

There is improvement in colour and texture of the harvest.HOMA produce has a longer shelf-life than that grown by any known modern method.

This is important from the marketing point of view.Natural predators appear automatically.Disease resistance increases.Cost of production is much less compared with other methods.

What is Homa Organic Farming?

How Homa Organic Farming Works

n n

n n n

n

n

HOMA Organic Farming means the application of HOMA Therapy in agriculture.HOMA Therapy means healing the environment, the atmosphere, and all of life using

the ancient Vedic Science of Yajnya.HOMA means Yajnya or Havan. We use these terms interchangeably. The backbone of this ancient science of HOMA Therapy is Agnihotra.Agnihotra is the smallest and basic HOMA which is performed exactly at sunrise and

sunset every day.Agnihotra and HOMA Therapy can be practised easily by anyone irrespective of caste,

religion, gender, age or race.In HOMA Organic Farming two more simple Homas are practised Vyahruti Homa and

Om Tryambakam Homa.n

n

Homa Organic Farming is holistic healing for agriculture and can be used in conjunction with any good organic farming system.

By practising Homa Organic Farming one can grow maximum yield in minimum agricultural area and keep the soil fertile, the water pure and the atmosphere nutritious.

The soil, water, atmosphere, subsoil water are all polluted by metallic, nonmetallic and gaseous toxicants of different types. The soil in large areas of forest is nearly dead. THE SOIL NEEDS TO BE REJUVENATED FIRST BY HOMA THERAPY. In the rejuvenated soil different types of microorganisms, starting from the level of viruses, bacteria, fungi, algae, thrive. Thus, a healthy micro-flora and micro-fauna is created. This gives rise to a micro environment or micro-system which is comparatively less toxic to the growing plants. The soil which has now become a living soil because of the presence of micro organisms has all the chemical components useful for life in the form of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. According to modern theory, these three together form life in the form of bacteria. We have e.g. nitrogen fixing bacteria, also bacteria working on phosphorus content of soil. After the creation of such micro environment, creatures like earthworms thrive. They eat the soil, digest it and again replenish the soil. It has been found that when Agnihotra ash is added through normal soil it increases the water soluble phosphate content of the soil and the nutrients are absorbed readily by the root hairs of the plant. Absorption of mega nutrients like Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potash, because of small cells and active transport is helped by Homa atmosphere. We have to tell the people this is how Homa farming works. When you perform Agnihotra and YAJNYA or other HOMAS in a garden, an atmosphere is created that is conducive to growing and therefore attracts the nutrients, insects, microorganisms and animals that would be happy and thrive in that environment. This, of course, is because nature is so wonderful, it automatically benefits the soil and the plant, and the plant thrives. Same thing happens when you put the ash or use Agnihotra ash water but it works more for the plants individually - by putting the ash around the individual plants or in the beds or spraying the plants, those elements that are best for that plant are attracted to it and it thrives. Of course, we have to use basic operations of farming like weeding, organic composting, spraying with Agnihotra Ash solution, etc.

PRACTICE OF HOMA, HOWEVER, IS THE KEY88

What is Agnihotra?

Materials Required for Agnihotra

PYRAMID: For Agnihotra you require a copper pyramid of specific size. Copper is a conductor for subtle energies also.

RICE: Brown rice. Highly polished rice loses nutritional value and hence low polished rice. Only unbroken pieces of rice should be used for Agnihotra. If rice is broken the subtle energy structure around the material is disturbed and hence is not fit for Agnihotra healing fire.

n

n

Agnihotra, the basic healing fire of HOMA Therapy, is a small fire prepared in a copper pyramid exactly at sunrise and sunset each day.

Agnihotra can neutralize the effects of pollution on plants, animals and human beings and at the same time give nourishment.

DRIED COW DUNG: Take dung from male or female progeny of a cow. Make pancake-like patties and dry them in sun. Agnihotra fire is to be prepared from this dried cow dung.Cow dung is treated as medicine in all ancient cultures whether they be Indians of North or South America, Scandinavians, East or West Europeans, Africans or Asians.

GHEE (clarified butter): Take some butter from cow's milk, which has no additives and is pure. Heat it on low heat. After the water has evaporated and white solids have risen to the top pass the liquid through a fine strainer. What passes through is clarified butter (Ghee). This can last without refrigeration for a long time. Ghee is a very special medicinal substance. When used in Agnihotra fire it acts as a carrier agent for subtle energies. Powerful energy is locked up in this material.

99

How to Make Ghee Last for One MonthFirst, obtain two litres of pure cow's milk. Heat the milk, let it cool down, then add a little yoghurt. In one or two days it will all be converted to yoghurt. It can then be churned by hand with a wooden instrument, clockwise and anti-clockwise to produce butter. From this, about 50g ghee can be produced. Use only one drop of ghee for the two portions of rice offered in each Agnihotra, and also just one drop of ghee applied to one piece of dried cow dung for lighting the fire. Then two drops of ghee per Agnihotra will be enough for one month of Agnihotra fires.

TIMINGS: Agnihotra is practised exactly at sunrise and sunset each day. Computer- generated timetables are available for any place using software developed in Germany.

There are vibrations that exist every-where. It is only vibrations when you go into it. Where there is vibration there is also sound. When we do these Mantras, the sounds we utter activate these special vibrations that will create certain atmosphere of effects. Then the desired results are realised. These vibrations exist for everything, so anything can be activated, controlled or changed by Mantras.

Mantras for Homa Therapy

Agnihotra should be performed every day at sunrise and sunset.

Vyahruti Homa can be performed at any time except sunrise and sunset. It is also performed when commencing Om Tryambakam Homa.

Om Tryambakam Homa should be performed at least 4 hours every day. It should also performed for 24 hours on full moon and no moon days.

Page 11: FFiivveeffoolldd PPaatthh MMiissssiioonn - Agnihotra · FFiivveeffoolldd PPaatthh MMiissssiioonn Homa Organic Farming (Training Manual) Homa Organic Farming (Training Manual) pprreesseennttss

Agnihotra Procedure

A few minutes before the actual time of sunrise and sunset you should start to prepare the Agnihotra fire as follows:

Place a flat piece of dried cow dung at the bottom of the copper pyramid. Arrange pieces of dried cow dung in the pyramid in such a manner as will allow air to pass. Apply a little Ghee to a small piece of cow dung and light it. Insert this lighted piece of cow dung in the middle of the pyramid. Soon all the dung in the pyramid will catch fire. You may use a hand fan to blow the air and help the flame. However, do not blow on the fire so as to avoid bacteria from the mouth affecting the fire.

Do not use any mineral oil or similar material to start the fire. At sunrise and sunset the fire should be ablaze in the pyramid.

You take a few grains of rice in a dish or your left palm and apply a few drops of ghee to them.

Exactly at sunrise utter the first Mantra and after the word SWAHA add a few grains of rice (as little as you can hold in the pinch of your fingers will suffice) to the fire.

Utter the second Mantra and after the word SWAHA add a few grains of rice to the fire.

This completes morning Agnihotra.

At sunset do the same by using evening Mantras. This completes evening Agnihotra.

If you miss the timing it is not Agnihotra and you will not get the healing effect on the atmosphere or in the ash.

After each Agnihotra try to spare as many minutes as you can for meditation. You can sit at least till the fire extinguishes itself. Agnihotra creates medicinal and healing atmosphere.

Just before the next Agnihotra collect the ash and keep it in a glass or earthen container. It can be used for plants or making folk medicines.

How Does Agnihotra Work?

The sun brings or takes the energy, which makes all conditions conducive to an anti-pollutionary change. It calms the world. The pyramid is the generator, the fire, the turbine. Just at morning Agnihotra all the electricities, energies, ethers are attracted to the pyramid in its shape. At sunset these energies are thrust out in same shape. This flood of energies at sunrise creates strong purifying effects on all levels wherever it touches the Earth.Agnihotra amplifies these purifying effects in the following way:This flood of subtle energies carries music with it. The morning Agnihotra Mantra is the quintessential sound of that flood. If you then prepare the fire in the prescribed copper pyramid, utter these mantras and offer the rice mixed with ghee to the fire, then a channel is being created through all the atmosphere and PRANA - life energy, is purified.

Tremendous amounts of energy are gathered around the Agnihotra copper pyramid just at Agnihotra time. The pyramid is the generator, the fire, the turbine. A magnetic type field is created, one which neutralises negative energies and reinforces positive energies. When Agnihotra fire is burnt there is not just energy from the fire. The rhythms and Mantras generate subtle energies which are thrust into the atmosphere by fire. Also consider the quality of materials burnt wherein lies the full effect of this healing HOMA.Much healing energy emanates from the Agnihotra pyramid. An aura energy field is created around plants during Agnihotra. Thus plants become stronger and disease resistant. When the flame dies the energy is locked in the resultant ash. This ash is used for preparing various folk medicines. Therefore, by regular performance of morning and evening Agnihotra, you create a positive energy pattern on all levels.

Resonance Point

Resonance Technique is a part of HOMA Therapy. Simple practices are used to heal large areas of diseased land in a short time. The same human effort is required to heal one or one hundred and fifty acres. Therefore we can install a RESONANCE POINT, to heal up to 150 acres of land. For this 10 new pyramids are needed which are charged with mantras and placed on the farm in a special configuration by a Homa Therapy volunteer who is authorized to install resonance points. Also 2 simple huts have to be built with inexpensive, natural materials, found locally, like wood, adobe bricks, mats, bamboo, stone, cane, etc. Nobody will live there. They are simply to protect the person performing the healing fires of HOMA Therapy from the sun, rain and to prevent animals like dogs, cats, chickens, etc. from entering.

AGNIHOTRA HUTOne hut, the main hut or Agnihotra hut is where the AGNIHOTRA fire is performed daily at sunrise and sunset. It is ideal to build this hut in the centre of the farm, if possible. Size should be approx. 3 x 4 meters, the longer side aligned with the EAST/WEST axis.

After activation, once the main pyramid is buried, a column of mud is built on top of it, to an approximate height of 18 inches and another activated pyramid is placed on top of it, directly above the buried pyramid. This way, the pyramid on the column is at heart level of the person sitting on the floor in front of the column. The pyramid on the column will not be used again, but acts as a Resonance Pyramid.

Then two of the other activated pyramids are placed on smaller mud platforms on the right and left hand side in front of the main column. The one on the left is for the daily AGNIHOTRA performance and the one on the right is for the performance of other occasional fires. Altogether we have 4 pyramids in this hut. The Agnihotra hut is a place of silence, no words, other than the Mantras, are spoken inside. This way there is no interference with the subtle healing energies. This hut is the Generator of Healing energies.

TRYAMBAKAM HUTThis hut is to be little larger than the first one (4x5m). We call it the HEALING HUT or OM TRYAMBAKAM HUT. It is for sick people to sit there and they get automatically healed. It is the fire. We are doing the fires for agriculture, yet the whole area becomes healing area for sick plants, animals and human beings. In this HEALING hut, 2 pyramids are to be placed on small columns of mud. The one on the right is for OM TRYAMBAKAM HOMA and the one on the left is for AGNIHOTRA. We do 4 hours Om Tryambakam Homa daily and twenty-four hours on full and new moon days here. It is better to construct this hut at the entrance of the farm so that outsiders can come and go without disturbing the privacy of those who live and/or work on the farm.

Resonance Point

ACTIVATION OF THE TEN RESONANCE PYRAMIDSActivation of pyramids is done in the Agnihotra hut only once in a lifetime. All pyramids are charged at the same time with fire and Mantra. After cooling down we remove the ash from all the pyramids, mix it with water and it can be given to a sick tree or any other plants in the area. The main pyramid which has been charged first will be buried in the Agnihotra hut, about 50 cm deep. It is important, that the pyramid faces exactly the same direction as when it was activated, i.e. the side which was parallel to the eastern wall during activation, should remain exactly parallel to the eastern wall when buried. The resonance pyramid on top of the column should be placed exactly over the buried pyramid and also exactly aligned as was the buried pyramid.According to ancient science, as the earth rotates, the sun contact is kept between the sun and this particular point. The performance of Agnihotra in this hut has to be started at sunset, not at sunrise. It is like switching on this point at sunset.

To heal sick plants, to rejuvenate the earth and to improve the quality of the water, AGNIHOTRA should be performed daily at exact timings given by computer according to the longitude and latitude of the specific farm. Also a minimum of 4 hours of OM TRYAMBAKAM HOMA should be performed daily. On full moon and new moon, 24 hours or as near as possible to 24 hours of OM TRYAMBAKAM HOMA should be performed. These guidelines are to be followed in order to:- heal plants from fungi, bacteria, harmful insects, nematodes, weevils, viruses, etc.- control weeds- produce abundant and healthy crops.

Along with the healing fires application of AGNIHOTRA ASH-WATER SOLUTION, BIOSOL and COMPOST (i.e. VERMICOMPOST) is recommended. The quality of the production will be superior in quantity, taste, texture, color, nutritional value, disease resistance and reduction of harvesting losses.

Some Important Points For exact calculations of sunrise/sunset Agnihotra timings we use computer

software developed in Germany, which uses a certain definition for sunrise/sunset (as given by the Rishis according to Vruksha Ayurveda)

If Om Tryambakam Homa is being performed and time of sunrise/sunset is coming, it will be interrupted briefly and Agnihotra is performed in the left hand pyramid. Immediately after, Om Tryambakam Homa can be resumed.

Keep Agnihotra ash and Om Tryambakam ash in separate vessels. Only Agnihotra ash is used as medicine for humans, plants and animals. Om Tryambakam Homa ash can be added to compost or put directly onto the field.

Before entering the Agnihotra hut minimum discipline is to wash hands, feet, face and rinse your mouth.

The Homa Therapy volunteer will come to the farm and set up the Resonance Point. What the farmer has to do afterwards is very simple, that is daily performance of AGNIHOTRA and OM TRYAMBAKAM HOMA.

Vermicompost means compost created by the biological activity of earthworms. Vermicastings are the faecal castings released by the earthworms.Vermiculture is the culture of the earthworm usually associated with agriculture.Earthworms are biological indicators of soil fertility.

Soils with earthworms support healthy populations of micro- and macro-organisms such as bacteria, fungi, actinomycetes, protozoans, insects, spiders, millipedes and a host of others that are essential for sustaining a healthy soil. Earthworms are classified into surface-dwellers and burrowers.

Surface-dwellers such as Eudrilus eugeniae are very effective in converting organic wastes into vermicompost. Burrowers are also good waste converters but as well, they modify the structure of

n

Composting can be done in pits, concrete tanks, well rings, wooden or brick-lined grower beds, wooden or plastic crates appropriate to a given situation.

Start with a layer of gravel mixed with sand to a thickness of at least 3" to ensure proper drainage.

Then a layer of soil to a height of 6" after being moistened. Inoculate this soil with about 100 locally collected earthworms.

Place small lumps of cowdung (fresh or dry) scattered over the soil and cover this with a 4" layer of hay.

Add a layer of Agnihotra ash. Spray liberally with water till the entire set up is moist but not wet. Cover with palm

fronds.

Worms need to breathe, just like most other living creatures.

Worms cannot tolerate anaerobic conditions. They will either leave the offending area or they will die.

About once in a week, the top few inches of the pile should be gently stirred, allowing for the escape of any built-up gases.

Temperature

Harvesting

Application of Vermicompost

nn

n n

Worms require moisture for their survival. Too little water kills the worms and too

much water chases them away.Water the pile so that it is damp, but does not remain soggy. The compost will be within the right moisture range if just a few drops of water can

be squeezed from a handful of material.

nn

nn

Temperature requirement for optimal results is 20-30° C. However, earthworms can survive even at lower temperatures and up to 48°C air

temperature. Keep the wormbeds under shade. They can be covered with damp gunny sacks or palm fronds to maintain temperature

and moisture in the optimum range.

n

n

n

n

The compost is ready when it is completely converted into a soft, spongy sweet smelling dark brown material (21 days).

Stop adding water. This compels the worms to move into the lower layers of the vermibed.

The top layers can then be safely removed without much damage to the worms.

The harvested compost is then put through a sieve in order to recover any worms and cocoons which may remain in the compost.

n

n n

Application of freshly harvested compost to soils will passively inoculate the worms as freshly harvested compost most definitely contains cocoons and juveniles.

Addition of vermicompost to soil promotes lush growth of plants.Vermicompost is one of the important ingredients in Gloria Biosol.

Biosol System of fertilization is composed of processes which lead to the bio-degradation of organic matter developed within Homa atmosphere using Agnihotra Ash and its solution with Yantra. We can use Biosol liquid for foliar application to nourish plant kingdom as well as we can also rebuild the soil health with Biosol. Biosol is superior to vermiwash because we keep the organic material for bio-degradation in a bio-digester with Agnihotra Ash for thirty days. Agnihotra Ash will have a significant positive effect on all the materials used and will make the Biosol rich in macronutrients.

It may be in the form of cylindrical rigid plastic tank or a cement tank with air valve, liquid outlet and a lid. Care should be taken that after filling the material in proper proportion lid should be sealed carefully to avoid air leakage. The diameter of air valve opening should be one and a half inch (1 1/2”). Procedure

1.Put one Copper Shree Yantra at the bottom of the tank facing upwards. (Shree Yantra geometrical design is engraved in copper and, according to traditional knowledge, is a powerful energy attractor).2.Make two hundred litres Agnihotra ash water solution (i.e. one kilo of Agnihotra Ash in two hundred liters of water). Let it stand for 3 days before use.3.Collect 80kg fresh cow dung, 80kg vermicompost and 10 litres cow urine.4.Divide the cow dung and vermicompost into 3 piles each.5.Mix one part vermicompost, one part cow dung, about 3 litres of cow urine and about fifty litres of Agnihotra ash water solution and stir to a slurry. This can be done outside the tank. After stirring thoroughly, pour it into the tank. (Make sure the valves are closed before pouring.)6.Repeat the same process with the second portion of the materials while stirring the material continuously and then add the second slurry to the tank.7.Finally repeat the process a third time and add the slurry to the tank.8.Add the remaining Agnihotra ash water solution to the tank and again stir.

In this way filling of 160 kilos of organic matter + ten liters cow urine + 200 liters of Agnihotra Ash solution is done. Make sure that all the material is fully stirred. Seal the lid with adhesive and teflon tape. Care should be taken that glue should not fall in the tank while sealing. At an interval of seven days, release the air valve to release the gas formed in the Bio-digester.In this way for thirty days the biodegradation of organic matter will take place in the presence of Agnihotra Ash.After thirty days outlet valve is opened to remove the Biosol liquid. It should be filled in air tight plastic cans of suitable sizes. The moist solid material which remains after removing Biosol liquid should be squeezed and more liquid Biosol is collected. We may get about two hundred litres of Biosol liquid. It should be used for foliar applications with water at a ratio of 1:15 to 1:20 depending on density of plant population. We can spray Biosol liquid on any type of crop at an interval of seven days. Roughly 20 litres is required per acre per month. If we preserve Biosol liquid in air-tight cans it will last longer, say about six months. Left over solid Biosol which is having maximum macro nutrients should be mixed with any type of organic manure at a ratio of 1:5.

Agnihotra Ash

Treating the Soil

Importance of Phosphorus

n nn n n n

Agnihotra ash is the Secret Weapon of the Homa Organic Farmer. Agnihotra ash is extremely medicinal.Agnihotra ash is beneficial at all stages of farming operations.Only ash from sunrise/sunset Agnihotra has this power.Ash from other Homas may also be used in composting operations. But Agnihotra ash is the key to success.

n

n

n

Experiments conducted in Russia have shown that Agnihotra ash is NOT RADIOACTIVE, even though the ingredients are radioactive.

Russian scientists have discovered that Agnihotra ash contains 92 elements.

In this way the body’s total requirement can be met.

nn

nn nn n

Soil is a living system.Micro-organisms are automatically attracted to Homa atmosphere and return to the

soil on a Homa Farm. One should give back to the Earth that which has been taken. In farming this comes through composting.

A compost bin/pile can be constructed according to any method. To this layering of organic materials Agnihotra ash should be added. Agnihotra ash energizes the material as it decomposes, giving the earth it is treated

with subtle energies to aid growth.

n n

Phosphorus is one of the important macro nutrients required by plants All growing plants need phosphorus for healthy growth. However, regardless of how

much phosphate is added to the soil, only the water soluble portion can be utilized by the plant.

Phosphorus is relatively insoluble in water and hence phosphate fertilizers have been developed to increase the amount of available soluble phosphorus in the soil.

An important effect associated with Homa Organic Farming is that the solubility of phosphorus in the soil increases.

Dr. Tung Ming Lai from Denver, Colorado, USA has taken some trials with phosphate solubility in several types of soil. It can be seen clearly that the addition of Agnihotra ash in each case increases the solubility of phosphorus.

Use seeds which have not been treated with chemicals. Treating seeds by the following method can make them more disease and pest

resistant and give them an initial boost.1. Place the seeds in cups or jars and label each container with the name of the seed.2. Cover seeds with cow's urine and soak the seeds for one to two hours. Make sure that seeds mix well with the urine and none are floating on top.3. Drain the seeds and cover them in cow dung. Seeds can be mixed with enough dung to coat them thoroughly. The dung and seed mixture can then be spread out to dry on plates, screens or boards.

As some seeds cannot survive complete dehydration after having been moistened, it is advisable that the seed/dung mixture be dried until just damp dry. The mixture can then be crumbled easily and sowed down a planting row. If you are planting a small amount of seeds and if the seeds are not too small, each seed can be wrapped in a small amount of cow dung.

Phases of the moon by which we plant have a great deal to do with the success of HOMA gardening. Plant on a no moon day or full moon day, depending on the type of seed planted. Try planting root crops on or before the new moon and above ground crops on or before a full moon day.

When you plant the seeds, try to be full of love, do Mantra, be clean in body and mind. Plant the seeds with Agnihotra ash. It can be sprinkled along with the seeds down each

row. As you water the newly planted seeds, Mantra should be done. When transplanting seedlings be sure to plant them with Agnihotra ash around the

roots. Planting or transplanting should never be done in the heat of the day.

We had a bore well drilled, despite warnings that there were no underground streams on our farm.

Sub-artesian water was found at forty meters (130 Feet). It was laboratory tested and found to be HIGHLY SALINE AND ALKALINE. The pH was 9.5 and the salinity measured 1150 ppm. So, we did AGNIHOTRA by the bore and regularly placed AGNIHOTRA ASH down the

bore well. The State Department of Water Resources was conducting regular tests on the bore

wells in our area and we were all amazed to see that the salinity and alkalinity reduced with each lab report until finally we had POTABLE DRINKING WATER.

Now the pH is constant at 7.2 which is neutral and the salinity is 720 ppm, within the standards laid down by the World Health Organization for potable water.

The soil on our farm was officially tested by the agricultural laboratory in 2003. The soil in the vegetable garden was the worst, with a pH of 4.4. Though very acidic, it was much better than any other farms in the area. The officials told us “We are sorry to let you know that nothing will grow here.” As a result of the test, we added lime and more compost and dried cow dung to the

garden soil in an attempt to improve the pH. We added Agnihotra ash as well, as always. In spite of the harsh climate, we have amazing results with our produce. Agnihotra and Agnihotra ash has improved the quality of the soil. It has increased our yield of vegetables greatly and the taste, texture, weight and

In Tapovan when we first started Homa Farming the soil was seriously deficient in all the major and minor nutrients.

High salinity. Topsoil layer reduced to less than 10 cm (4 inches) in parts. The fine clay soil developed huge cracks in summer. In the wet season the surface was sealed like cement allowing minimal water

absorption, which led to a situation of major water-logging and flooding when the rains came.

We have seen a miraculous recovery of the soil here in Tapovan from its previously severely damaged state

It is now producing crops of superior yield and taste which are not troubled by insect attack.

All these fantastic results, are due to the practice of Agnihotra and other Homas and the use of the Homa Organic Farming techniques.

The Dean of Animal Husbandry of Universidad Nacional Agraria de la Selva, Tingo Maria, Huanuco, Peru, personally made observations during a period of eighteen months, comparing cows bred in Homa atmosphere with those without Homa atmosphere.

In Homa atmosphere, cows produced more milk with better fat content.

Only on Homa Farms, placenta was expelled completely after delivery of the calf, thus peventing many diseases.

Skin of animals on Homa farms was more shiny; health was far superior among animals receiving the influence of Homa healing fires.

nn n nnn n

HOMA VERMICULTURE IS AN ECOLOGICAL DAILY ACTIVITY. Those who would like to improve their environment should practice it.

Installation and management of vermiculture using Homa technology and the use of Agnihotra ash, promotes the reproductive activity of earthworms in summer and winter. Within the Homa area, a favourable micro-climate is created for the development of earthworms. With Homa, in less than one month, the number of earth worms doubles. Normally, this takes from 3 to 4 months.

With Homa technology we obtain minimum 12 harvests per year. Sometimes, we have achieved from 17 to 18 harvests in a year. With conventional method, maximum harvests are 4 per year.

During the composting process in Homa atmosphere, an exquisite fragrance is produced, which permeates the whole environment, contributing to the healing.

This pleasant aroma attracts pollinators within the area. This is part of the bio-feedback effect from Nature which is obtained with Homa

technology.

In Homa atmosphere, earthworms: generate more moisture in the soil increase the hormones secretions in their reproductive organs enabling them to

Homa Organic Farming 27 Homa Organic Farming 27

Friends of the FarmerCow, Earthworm & Honeybee

Honeybee

Due to pollution, honey bees are dying on a mass scale in all parts of the world. They cannot get enough nutrition to survive. Even if we employ all known methods of improving soil and sustainable organic agriculture, the bees will still be dying. This is a big threat to agricultural production. Bees also become aggressive in areas where chemical pesticides have contaminated their food sources. They perceive that their food is contaminated and their production is interrupted. They also become aggressive when the stored honey gets contaminated with chemical pesticides, or when the beehives receive a lot of direct sunlight.

Inside the agricultural area where Homa Therapy is applied, a healthy and pure atmosphere is created, quite favorable as a habitat for bees. Bees adapt easily in a Homa environment and they can develop without attack of pathogenic agents. They have a lot of food available, due to the continuous flowering of the crops, with a high content of nectar and propolis achieved through the effect of Homa Therapy and the Agnihotra ash. This makes the whole Homa area a highly favourable place. Add to this the availability of clean water and the healing energy generated by the Homa fires.

The work of the Homa farmer is complemented by the work of the bees. They contribute to agriculture with the pollination of fruit crops, horticulture, in forestry in general and also to cattle and dairy farming by pollinating the pastures. They also produce honey-combs containing high quality honey, pollen, wax, propolis and royal jelly, categorized as food and medicine through the Homa Therapy effects. The Homa farmer and the bees work together with nature, the bees doing their prodigious work to aid the preservation of the plant kingdom.

In this undertaking even the drones, who usually don't work, participate due to the effect of Homa Therapy. In an area where Homa Therapy is applied, the drones begin to work like the worker bees, contributing to the maximum honey production. This special phenomenon occurs only through the effect of Homa Therapy. The availability of good, healthy and abundant food in Homa atmosphere also contributes.

Inborn in the honey bee are certain hormones that are produced solely in HOMA atmosphere. This subject is foreign to anything science has encountered so far in this respect. These hormones help the nutritional levels yielded in vegetables and fruits to yield at much increased rates.

The queens that are born and developed in Homa atmosphere, although they might not be of a good stock, are big and very beautiful. The abundant quantity of provisions of nectar and pollen in the area through Homa Therapy contribute to this. Queens raised in a Homa environment give birth to vigorous colonies. They themselves are also vigorous and live for a long time. They produce strong individuals, like good workers, who make good crops of honey.

In an area where Homa Therapy is applied, the reservoirs of drinking water, available for the bees to drink, become pure, clean and medicinal. These characteristics are more pronounced when Agnihotra ash is added to the drinking water. Additionally, in a Homa area there is always an abundance of organic nectar, pollen, and other necessary foods for the bees. Under these ideal conditions, the beehives produce abundant honey and the construction of honeycombs is constant through the Homa Therapy effect.

Homa Organic Farming is total AHIMSAK KRISHI.It is the only farming system which is totally AHIMSAK.

In Homa Organic Farming we do not kill anything, not even so-called dangerous pests. In Homa Organic Farming pests and diseases are approached in a different way: non-

adversarial, non-antagonistic. All insects, viruses, bacteria, fungi, etc are a part of Nature and have their role to

play. Agnihotra and Homa Therapy encourage balance in Nature. All species come into balance with each other. The so-called dangerous pests are controlled by predators (friends of the farmer)

which appear automatically in a balanced environment. Use of chemicals destroys this fine balance in Nature.

AGNIHOTRA ASH WATER SOLUTIONPut 1kg Agnihotra ash into 200 litres of clean water. Leave it covered for 3 days.

After 3 days it is ready to use. Agnihotra ash water solution is very useful for encouraging natural control of difficult

pests. It can be used on the soil around the plants or as a foliar spray.

GLORIA BIOSOL Gloria Biosol tonic is also very effective in controlling any serious pest or disease

attack. Gloria Biosol can be used directly on the soil or as a foliar spray or also applied

directly to the leaves, stems and branches. See Chapter on Gloria Biosol p. 18

n nn

n

n

n

Occasionally it may be necessary to use special Homa preparations in order to control serious pest and disease attack. The following preparations have been found to be very useful in this regard. These preparations are not designed to kill, but rather to strengthen the health of the plants so that they can resist the attack. Insect plagues are a sign of great imbalance in Nature caused by man's use of chemical poisons. In the balanced Homa eco-system both friendly insects and also pests will be present. But because they are balanced this has no negative impact on the Homa farmer.

In June 2005, sugar cane was attacked by woolly aphid.

It was immediately controlled by two natural predators called Micromus igorotus and Dipha aphidivora, which came automatically.

Attack resulted from use of impure ghee for Homas.

Interestingly, the predators started from the area where the woolly aphid had first appeared.

Now we have a lush, green, healthy sugar cane in our 20 acres farm and also in the neighbouring farms.

24th August, 2004

I first visited the coconut gardens of the Art of Living international campus, Bangalore on 15th August, 2004.

During my inspection I noticed severe attack of leaf eating caterpillar pest Nephantis cerenopa.

The leaves of most of the coconut palms were being eaten away by the caterpillars and the attack was fast spreading from the palms in the north portion to the southern region.

I recommended that they cut the severely affected leaves right away and burn them to release the parasite Bracorm brevicormis.

Meanwhile, the campus YLTP team had commenced Agnihotra in this area, at the instigation of Shri Shri Ravi Shankar.

On 18th August the leaves of some of the severely affected palms were cut down. I inspected the leaves but could not find any larvae on them. Further, I opened the cocoons to see the pupae, but I noticed that all the pupae were

dead. I then recommended to stop the cutting of the leaves. I now certify that the coconut garden is free from leaf eating caterpillar, Nephantis

cerenopa.

The Homa farm "El Cerezo" is in Piura, Peru, South America. I planted 10,000 Mango trees, variety Kent in 30 hectares in 1997. But we lost all the production in Piura with the climatic changes of "El Nino" in 1998. Banks were not giving loans either. However, in 2001, while I was the Director of the Office of the Ministry of Agriculture in Piura, I was fortunate to learn about the Agro Homa Supertechnology and decided to apply it in my farm.

The situation of the farm was critical, since there was not enough water, fertilization and appropriate management. The plantation was 4 years old with zero production. The Mango usually produces after 3 years. The following chart shows what happened with Homa application on my farm:

As you can see, there is a continuous increase in the production of an excellent, tasty and well paid fruit in the international market.

Now, we added 22 hectares of organic banana and a packaging building. Dole is buying and exporting our fruits.

Besides greater and healthy production, the Agro Homa Supertechnology fruit is excellent, organic, ecological and exportable. Homa also provides an excellent working atmosphere.

"Manas Krushi" FarmMango and Cashew Nut

Farm of Venkatesh KulkarniShahapur, Dist: Thane, MH

We came across Gurudev Shree Vasant Paranjpe between 1998 and 1999. From our discussions with Him, what we realized was, the cow is an important part in farming and this is the reason why the cow has been given an important place in our scriptures and culture. Another point we found out from Him was that for healthy farming the environment should be healthy and to achieve this a simple procedure of Agnihotra is advised. If we use the correct combination of cow and Agnihotra then we can achieve the same result in farming as our forefathers enjoyed.

I strongly believe there is no other technology which is economical and at the same time gives healthy and better produce. In this technology there is no chance of a farmer becoming bankrupt.

If we compare my produce like cashew, I have cashew nut trees which are 5 to 6 years old. I have traveled to Sindhudurg, Goa and Kerala. There 5 to 6 year old trees give 2 to 3 kg of cashew nuts. But my trees give more than 5kg per tree. This means I produce 50 to 60% more than others using this technology. I have 8 to 9 year old Kesar mango trees. Kesar Mango trees around my area give 50 to 60 kg of produce. But in my farm I get 90 kg per tree. This makes me believe if any farmer uses this technology, then he will earn decent profit.

Secondly, for aromatic crops, I have planted patchouli and vetiver. The yield I get from my farm is higher than the yield available from other neighbouring farms. There is a difference of 20%.

WHY HOMA ORGANIC FARMING?Vasant V. Paranjpe

HOMA Therapy is totally a revealed science. It is as old as creation. In the course of time this knowledge was lost but it is now being resuscitated to give people guidance about how to correct polluted conditions of the planet we find ourselves in today. HOMA Therapy comes from Vedas, the most ancient body of knowledge known to man.

When things go wrong due to pollution, the elements of nature begin to change. The cohesion of atoms, fusion of atoms, begin in a different way as it is described in ATHARVA VEDA. It is stated if atoms begin refusion and fission in an improper way, a civilization could be destroyed. If HOMA is performed when this takes place it helps mould things harmoniously and a new, beneficial element is produced. Notice we do not say created. Nothing is created, only reshaped. This knowledge is HOMA Therapy.

THIS KNOWLEDGE CAN BE USED BENEFICIALLY TO GROW CROPS WITHOUT CHEMICALS AND PESTCIDES. THIS IS HOMA THERAPY ORGANIC FARMING. The process of AGNIHOTRA PYRAMID FIRE is the basic HOMA. AGNIHOTRA is a must to sustain life now.

HOMA Therapy is given at a time when all hope is gone. It is given for all people. Any one can do it; incorporate it in his or her daily life. HOMA has such a profound effect on plant life. It has a beneficial effect on animals including mankind but would be more easily detected in plants as they are more simple organism.

SCIENTISTS CARRY THE FATE OF THE WORLD. We can teach you how to grow crops, how to get maximum yield out of minimum agricultural area, how to keep soil fertile, how to keep water pure, how to keep atmosphere nutritious. All this forms part of HOMA Therapy. How the seed is treated, when the seed is to be planted, how to nourish the crops, how to harvest, when it is all contained in the Vedas, a treasure house of knowledge awaiting scientists. All we have to do is to tap into the source.

We think we have found the technological paradise. It will be our hell in the next years. Whether we like it or not we have already handed ourselves on a silver platter of technology into the jaws of death. Science and technology are different things. Science is the search for truth. What technology has done and persists in doing is nothing short of raping the land and the air that we breathe of all nutrients by destroying plant life with pesticides and insecticides and polluting human beings with chemical fertilizers and food additives. All this is taking toll now. Man cannot survive this era without a massive attempt to counteract the destruction.

We have nearly reached a stage where there will be no reliable uncontaminated natural resources. All of our water supply will be polluted. In some areas there will be severe droughts and in other terrific floods. We should understand that these times have already begun. WE MUST RELY UPON SCIENTIFIC MEANS TO UNDO THE EFFECTS OF POLLUTED CONDITIONS IN ATMOSPHERE, SOIL, WATER AND ALL LIFE FORMS.

The scientists and governments know this. However, man's awareness is blanketed by myths of prosperity and by his ignorance of environment. The age of complacency is coming to a violent end and hence the need for HOMA Therapy. We request the scientists to investigate the effectiveness of HOMA Therapy in undoing the effects of pollution.

All living things in nature plants, trees, forests, the crops we plant, animals and human beings are exposed to such terrific pollutants that it becomes difficult to escape the deleterious effects. Micro organisms are rapidly dying in the soil. There will be no food to eat unless there is HOMA atmosphere.

AGNIHOTRA, the basic HOMA, is the way to save the world now. If anyone can show better, easier, more practical way, we are willing to listen.

When seepage begins from nuclear reactors and nuclear waste disposal systems, people in those areas will feel as if they are living on a keg of dynamite. People will become angry with scientists for what they have done, for their lack of thoroughness when they began experimenting with radioactive materials, for not looking to the ramifications of misusing such power or for creating such a powerful menace. The scientists will be hard pressed for solutions. They will work diligently, relentlessly for answers. The answer is here. The answer is AGNIHOTRA HOMA and the revealed knowledge the powers that be have chosen to give through us. Do not believe in what we tell you. Try AGNIHOTRA and be convinced on your own. We ask the scientist to investigate.

With chemical fertilizers and pesticides it becomes necessary to increase the dosage and strengthen or alter formulas as years go by. Then a stage comes when nothing grows unless you use them. If you do use them they ruin the soil and subsoil water. The harmful chemicals are ingested into the body when we eat food grown under these conditions. Then a few years later nothing grows at all and land that was once fertile and produced abundant crops has to be abandoned. These are some of the reasons why several communities started thinking in terms of organic farming and biological pest control. This worked for a while but as pollution content of the atmosphere increased and things got compounded, organic farmers came into terrific difficulties.

With increased doses of acid rain the top few inches of the soil on earth are likely to be totally destroyed so that nothing will grow. The answer to our ills lies just few inches beneath the surface of the earth. HOMA Therapy farming is the way out.

Elements begin to change due to pollution. Somehow due to magnetic like pull setup where HOMA is performed the elements required to make certain life sustaining essentials are again attracted to the planet by some other mode of transference. Some may even come from other planets.

Changes in soil composition due to pollution become drastic and the results become disastrous. Soil becomes unable to sustain plants and even life. The way out is to inject nutrients and fragrance into the atmosphere by widespread practice of HOMA.

The molecular change in the fission and fusion of atoms cause properties of elements to change in atomic structure and weight. Electrons and neutrons rotate at varying speeds. If proper insight is given to scientists we can show them how this knowledge can be used beneficially in some areas when looked at from HOMA perspective.

The composition of nutrients in the soil deteriorates and this has a great impact on the food supplies. Pollution is the disease. HOMA is the cure. The practice of HOMA replenishes the nutrients that are robbed from our environment by pollution. The chemical and molecular structure of bacteria change and they become more immune to conventional medical methods. If we practice HOMA things will improve.

PLANT STRUCTURE AND PHYSIOLOGYPlants grown in HOMA atmosphere evolve networks of veins that are cylindrical and larger than normal permitting water and nutrients easier movements to all parts of the plant. This helps growth and reproduction cycles. Also, it helps in the production of chlorophyll and plant breathing, thereby helping the oxygen recycling system of nature.

If slides are prepared they will show the difference in cellular structure in plants bred in HOMA atmosphere compared to those which are not. Subtle energies begin to have more obvious effect on plants now. It can easily be recorded if some scientists want to put their minds to it.

A change in the nuclear structure in plants due to pollution makes it impossible for humans to extract nutrition to survive unless plants are grown in Agnihotra atmosphere with Agnihotra ash. Then the plant defies change and maintains its place in the balance of nature.

The pathological structure, nutritive structure of plants are changing. By practice of Agnihotra much of the nutrients, taste and above all a new highly beneficial element are packed on to a small area, giving satisfaction (in the sense of the quality element) and health. The taste, texture, color, size of kernel which is the seed become excellent.

The root system in plants change due to HOMA atmosphere. Roots stay small and less troublesome due to the extreme quality of nutrients the plant extracts from the soil.

A new phenomena is noted in HOMA Therapy Organic Farming with respect to soybean crops. It will be beneficial to farmers and gardeners to set aside part of their planting area for soybean where possible. When using HOMA Farming techniques a strange situation occurs whereby antibodies are introduced into the body by the ingestion of soybeans. This will help combat several diseases, some of which medical people are aware and some which are yet to occur. This will only occur where HOMA Therapy is used and is given by grace.

PLANT FUNCTIONSWhen HOMA is done in the garden or under a tree the effect of the smoke first goes to the leaves. The smoke acts as a catalyst for the generation of chlorophyll in terms of a chemical reaction, which can easily be shown by a botanist who may choose to study the subject.

HOMA atmosphere especially that of this concise Agnihotra, acts as a catalyst on plant metabolism, causing the plant to reach for the nutrients it needs, necessitating strength and then yielding the nutrients, giving the plant health and allowing it to more efficiently blend with the ecological balance of things. The root system of a plant is like Nadi. It draws its energy from a source and, if it has developed properly, it distributes the energy and nutrients throughout the plant, permitting harmonious and equivalent growth. When HOMA is performed properly it helps carry the nutrients equally throughout the plant by its vascular system. It does the same things to humans, on subtle level.

CROP YIELDWhen growing plants in Agnihotra atmosphere do not necessarily expect the plants to become large; instead observe the size, quality and appearance of the vegetable, fruit or flower. All the energy of the plant goes towards yield because by performance of HOMA we make the plants happy.

Energy patterns of plants are arranged in such a way that when HOMA is performed the injection of nutritional content into the atmosphere helps shape and mold these patterns harmoniously so that the result is fantastic yield and excellent quality. Agnihotra is the basic HOMA.

Page 39: FFiivveeffoolldd PPaatthh MMiissssiioonn - Agnihotra · FFiivveeffoolldd PPaatthh MMiissssiioonn Homa Organic Farming (Training Manual) Homa Organic Farming (Training Manual) pprreesseennttss

Homa Organic Farming Homa Organic Farming 3939

Appendix 1

A strange phenomenon occurs when plants are bred in Agnihotra atmosphere. An aura-type field of energy is generated from the plant and exists around the plant while Agnihotra is performed in its proximity. The field contains nutrients and vibrations of love. The plant is continually able to draw on this resource that is given by performance of Agnihotra in the area. This gives the plant the ability to maintain maximum growth and yield levels. At the same time a feedback of love is given to the area, helping to negate the effects of thought pollution.

Fruit trees will yield fruit double the usual size with twice the meat if Agnihotra and HOMA are performed regularly in the orchards. Orange would be a good fruit to begin with, as it will quickly, almost immediately, give results.

Tangerine and orange trees will show good results with HOMA experiments. It will be easy to see quickly with either of these species. Pear trees will bear sweeter fruit in HOMA atmosphere.

SOILSoil in HOMA atmosphere holds moisture better than any soil. It is due to the ghee and the feedback of HOMA on the atmosphere. When nutritional rain comes, the nutrients and moisture are sustained as a unit in the soil. This makes for better quality vegetation. It seems fantastic but it is true.

In HOMA Therapy Organic Farming, the result of the HOMA process is that something physical interacts with the soil making the nutrients already there more potent. When nutrients are absent, cultivating the growth of nutrients necessary for health plant life is achieved by the HOMA process.

In Agnihotra atmosphere the metabolic process of plants is sped up. It is the ghee used in Agnihotra process that is the catalytic factor and on more subtle level the Mantras interacting with the combined effect of the burnt ghee and rice. This combination enters the soil after returning from the solar range. It enters the plants by one might say, attaching itself to minerals and water absorbed by the root system of the plant. The ghee acts like a catalyst creating a chemical reaction with the plant aiding in enzyme and vitamin production and encouraging and increasing the cyclic rate .In other words the plants mature faster, taste better by mere performance of Agnihotra in the garden.

Aeration of soil, of course, is an important part of gardening or farming. If HOMA ash is placed on the top of soil before it is cultivated it does a lot to help nourish the plant and make the plant happy. It is more important to make the plant happy as that is the way the plants can start to give us the feedback effect of love.

The more Love you put into the farm or garden, the more HOMA is performed, specifically revolving around Agnihotra, the greater the vibration of love will be in the area and the happier the people will be. Also the greater and tastier the yield will be. Agnihotra and Agnihotra ash, when put on the soil, help stabilize the amount of nitrogen and potassium present.

Trace elements in the soil are changing drastically. Trace elements are important to plant growth and maturation. HOMA Therapy farming is the way out. With HOMA farming it begins to become important that all phases of nature work in harmony. Trees begin to loose their hold in the ground. The soil is having difficulty supporting life. Trees tend to fall over. HOMA and HOMA Therapy renourish the ground.

Homa Organic Farming Homa Organic Farming 4040

Appendix 1

The entire ecological system is benefited by HOMA. For example, earthworms are able to generate more moisture in the soil due to the performance of HOMA. HOMA makes them happy and their hormone secretion increases, thereby benefiting the soil and therefore the plants that live in the soil. The earthworm is important to farming. HOMA atmosphere increases the hormones in earthworms involved in their reproductive organs and helps multiplication of the species, which in turn helps the soil to become more rich.

Chemical fertilizers will prove less effective. There will be more government regulation to guard against health hazards. HOMA Therapy Organic Farming is the answer.

REPRODUCTIONSome fruits begin to increase their reproductive cycle if Agnihotra is performed in proximity to where they are grown. A plant's strength depends upon the nutrient of the soil and atmosphere that surrounds it. Science perhaps does not lay so much stress on atmosphere but it is one of the biggest factors due to the oxygen recycling system. Also if the atmosphere is filled with nutrients the plant becomes especially happy when this is done by HOMA process.

This helps increase the number of seeds, the number of fertile or potentially fertile seeds germinated. Also the period of germination is helped and the quality of pollen produced is improved. The whole reproductive cycle of the plant is benefited by HOMA atmosphere.

The whole ecological system is changing. The reproductive cycle of plants is changing. This affects the bees and therefore their ability to perform their role of pollination is inhibited. This adversely affects the ability of plants, especially certain vegetables, to yield and propagate.

HELP FOR THE ENVIRONMENTThe principles of life must be restated now on this earth. Everyone must be made aware that HOMA is necessary to survive. We withdraw nutrients from the environment. They must be somehow replaced. HOMA is the means. Elements begin to change. Somehow due to magnetic-like pull set up where HOMA is performed, the elements required to make certain life sustaining essentials are again attracted to the planet by manifestation of some other mode of transference. Some may even come from other planets.

When Agnihotra is performed there is a turbulence of electricities and ethers created by the combination of mantras and fire that extends all the way to the solar range. This turbulence leads to a quick upheaval of the nutrient structure in the area.

More people should begin to perform Agnihotra under a tree. This makes the tree happy and the tree dances and sings. Also the birds are much attracted to Agnihotra. It is healing to them. HOMA trees will soon begin to grow. They will be a species in themselves. They are now generating in intense HOMA atmosphere. Places like Amazon region of Peru is where they will be discovered.

Nature is in total turmoil. So much destruction is coming now. We must saturate the atmosphere with nutrients. Ghee is the vehicle. Mantras are the power. HOMA must be done now on a large scale.

The earth has been robbed of its elements by pollution. HOMA can replace these things, which are vital to all life. The earth is wasting away. HOMA is the way to save it.

INSECTSInborn in the honey bee are certain hormones that are produced solely in HOMA atmosphere. This subject is foreign to anything science has encountered so far in this respect. These hormones help the nutritional levels yielded in vegetables and fruits to yield at much increased rates.

Bees are attracted to HOMA atmosphere as the amount of energy they receive from Agnihotra fire helps them to perform at a greater level of efficiency. When this is translated to pollination, they can help to increase the yields of crops. This is especially true with corn, tomatoes, berries, fruit and the like.

If HOMA is going on round the clock in proximity to a garden, that in itself is an effective aid to insect control. The atmosphere becomes saturated with ghee and the plants are able to manufacture a protective coating due to a special chemical combination in their chemical make-up interacting with the ghee absorbed by the plants by breathing. The HOMA atmosphere also creates something intangible that permits this situation to occur, which is based on the vibrational content of the atmosphere due to Mantras going on all the time.

AGNIHOTRA: A NEW DIMENSIONAgnihotra was first shown publicly in Poland in 1981 by Vasant and Dr Ulrich Berk at a symposium in Warsaw by Lech Stefanski.

Dr Berk made many visits to Poland to teach Agnihotra in various parts of Poland. It spread in a big way as a healing tool for the family that removes tension on the mind. It was also used for growing small gardens with wonderful results.

After Chernobyl nuclear accident, in 1986, scientists in some Eastern European countries became more curious and wondered how this Agnihotra effect comes about. During his several trips to Eastern Europe, Vasant told the scientists that if they try to look at Agnihotra merely from the point of view of chemistry they might not be able to make much progress. However, if they examine Agnihotra from the point of view of Quantum Physics, they would find a gold mine of knowledge in this ancient Vedic Science of Healing the Atmosphere.

After several experiments, one senior scientist made the following remarks:“The chemical reactions which take place when Agnihotra pyramid fire, mentioned in Homa Therapy burns, are less important. Important is the radiation. We know the chemical aspects of fire. In the end we get H O, CO and CO. Then there is a visible light and infrared. This is the 2 2

classical view today about fire. If you look into the more subtle structure of fire, you find that electrons jump from one atom to another (like a flash of lightning) and this causes some emissions on a very subtle level which hardly fits into modern Quantum Theory.”

Vasant also told them, “If you test Agnihotra with an oscilloscope you will notice a special sound coming from the fire. It is a sound that heals. Other things are there but the key is the sound. Fire produces sound but it also reacts to sound. The act of singing special vibrations while the Agnihotra copper pyramid fire burns, creates a resonance effect which invigorates the cells of plants, leading to better reproductive cycles. Resonance plays a vital part in natural phenomena. Here, we are talking about a healing molecular spectrum beyond the whole electromagnetic spectrum.”

The following quotation is taken from the book “Secrets of the Soil” by Peter Tompkins and Christopher Bird."Mato Modric,… an expert in electromagnetic fields, dowsing and geo-pathogenic zones, [remarked:] 'That the Agnihotra ash could produce disinfectant, anticoagulant and tissue-contracting effects on living matter … was well established.' And he said he believed Vasant when he claimed the ash had pesticidal and fungicidal properties and that it might ultimately solve the problem of mineral deficiencies.

"Modric explained that he believed he was dealing with a complex that could potentially affect the whole environment, countering the toxins of modern technology developed over the last century by the industrial revolution, and that the process might have enormous implications for our very existence.

"He added that he believes that Agnihotra ceremonies performed at various specifically spaced points on earth, if done exactly at sunrise and sunset, could affect an energy associated with the earth, one such as described by Steiner and Reich, the enhancement of which would have a healing effect on the environment…

" 'We believe we can establish the fact of an electromagnetic radiation during the ceremony,' he elaborated. 'But we are … into an area of informational transfer through intermolecular and interatomic processes mediated by ultraviolet photons. It is logical to conclude that some kind of energetic mechanism is being activated which can be translated into physical meaning linked to concrete information systems that are as yet unknown, but connected to systems of resonance…' "

EUROPEANS BEWAREBy Karin Heschl

[email protected]

When the Chernobyl nuclear accident happened in 1986, I had a farm near Graz in Austria. The Austrian Government immediately issued that every farmer had to carry milk and fodder for testing for radioactivity. When I did this, the inspectors were shocked, because they found only normal radioactivity levels in our milk and fodder samples while all the farmers in the surrounding area had high doses in their samples. The inspectors said it was not possible to have normal radioactivity after Chernobyl and is there anything special that I do on my farm?

I told them that my farm was using ancient Ayurveda technology to grow food which is now presented as HOMA Organic Farming Technology.

“We do a small fire in small copper pyramid exactly at the moments of Sunrise/sunset. Materials burnt are dried cow dung cake pieces a little clarified butter from cows and a few grains a raw rice. This is called Agnihotra Homa. Also we do another Homa, repeating one mantra and adding a drop of clarified butter to the fire after the mantra for four hours daily. On full moon and new moon days we take turns to maintain the second HOMA for twenty four hours. According to Ayurveda by this method we inject nutrition into the atmosphere. This affects the plants, soil and subsoil water.

However the inspectors were not interested in doing further research. For a scientist, normally one such experience will be enough to motivate him to do further research.

This Ayurvedic Farming method was tested on 1200 hectares of land in the Amazon region of the Republic of Peru by the Agronomical Engineers connected with the office of the President of Peru. This observation lasted seven months and covered all crops grown in the area.

The results were fantastic:(see report from Peru p4)

Greater quantity per hectare Better quality i.e. taste, colour, disease resistance, etc. Longer shelf life.Shorter harvesting time.Cost per hectare is much less

In ancient Ayurvedic teachings of farming it is stated that this type of set up on a farm with ONE RESONANCE POINT CAN COVER BETWEEN 150 TO 200 ACRES OF CROPS. This set up totally negates the effects of radioactivity and related problems in humans, animals and plants. My personal experience on my farm should act as an eye-opener for scientists to do further research.

This Ayurvedic Technique was brought to the West by VASANT PARANJPE of INDIA who later came in contact with some Ex Soviet scientists for doing further research. After several years of research they came to the conclusion that AGNIHOTRA ASH IS THE SOLUTION TO COUNTER RADIOACTIVITY-RELATED DISEASES. In Germany one pharmacist, Monika Koch, had rediscovered how to use this ash for treating various human physical and psychological maladies.

Insects, which became radioactive after Chernobyl, have not died out. Now they proliferate and spread disease everywhere. Now all food grown in Eastern, Central, and Western Europe has damaging doses of radioactivity. Even the medical tablets will have this radioactivity as the ex-Soviet scientists predicted soon after the year 2000.

Shree Vasant has been teaching HOMA Organic Farming and also HOMA Folk Medicines as rediscovered by Monika Koch in all continents with miraculous results. These teachings are FREE and also we are insisting that any medicines prepared from Agnihotra ash should ALWAYS BE GIVEN GRATIS and never should any money be charged.

It is now necessary to produce this ash in large quantities from Agnihotra pyramid fires using substances which HAVE NOT BECOME RADIOACTIVE. According to those ex-Soviet scientists INDIA will be the right place to prepare this ash with proper disciplines mentioned in Ayurveda tradition. Then we can dispatch this valuable ash FREE to Europe.

Experiments conducted by

Bundesforschungsanstalt fuer Landwirtschaft (FAL)(The Federal Agricultural Research Centre)

Braunschweig, Germany.

Just now I have got the first results from our experiment concerning the solubility of phosphorus.

We took the experiment from Dr Tung Ming Lai (Denver, Colorado, USA) as a model for our experiment.

We did the following six variants:1) 25 ml. distilled water2) 25 ml. distilled water + 5 gm. Soil3) 0.1 gm. Agnihotra ash in 25 ml. distilled water4) 0.1 gm. Control ash in 25 ml. distilled water5) 0.1 gm. Agnihotra ash with 5 gm. soil in 25 ml distilled water6) O.1 gm. Control ash with 5 gm. soil in 25 ml distilled water

The ashes were produced and given to us by Dr. Ulrich Berk.

The result:In variant 1 & 2, the content of water soluble phosphorus was nearly zero. The variants 3 & 4 (with Agnihotra ash and Control ash respectively) showed also a relative small amount of water soluble phosphorus. There was hardly any difference between Control ash and Agnihotra ash.

Now comes the exciting part. In variant 5 (Agnihotra ash with soil), the content of water soluble phosphorus was about double that in variant 6 (Control ash with soil).

We have repeated each variant 3 times so we are pretty sure that this is the final result.

That means the hypothesis seems to be true “That through the presence of Agnihotra ash the water soluble phosphorus content in the soil becomes higher”.

Exact figures will follow. In the moment we are carrying out two more experiments with common methods where we will compare control ash and Agnihotra ash to find out the amount of phosphorus available for the plant (CAL and P water).

Agnihotra ash is extremely medicinal and has a powerful purifying effect on water. Some experiments were carried out in the 1980s in USA and Poland to test the effect of Agnihotra ash on water.

Observations with Flower Water by Elsbieta Gerlecka, PolandOne-half litre of water in which flowers had been kept for a long time and, therefore, having an unpleasant smell was poured into two separate bottles. To one of these bottles, Agnihotra ash was added with the following results:

Observations with Aquarium Waterby Sandy Sachs, USATwo fish bowls, A and B, were set up in close proximity, identical in size, shape, quantity and quality of water, plants and number of fish. Agnihotra ash was added to one bowl only. Observations were made on the growth of algae, water levels and health of fish in the two bowls.Materials used:

Two identical fish bowls. Equal strands of elodea plants held in place by clean glass marbles. Four two inch goldfish, two of which were healthy and two of which appeared to be weak. One healthy and one weak fish were placed in each bowl.

Experiment 1 One teaspoon of Agnihotra ash was added to bowl A. No ash was added to bowl B. Both sets of fish were fed the same food supplement. After 5 days it was noted that the water in bowl A was clearer and that the fish were

livelier than in bowl B. After 6 days the weaker fish in bowl B needed to be removed from the bowl, for it was

dying. Also it was noted that the grass (elodea) was beginning to die in both the bowls. The water in bowl B was noticeably more yellow and smelled significantly more foul than that in bowl A.

Between the ninth and fourteenth days the elodea died off rapidly, fouling the water and causing it to look foamy at the top in both bowls. The fish became lethargic.

On the twentieth day it was noted that in bowl B the water had become deep brown and had an algal ring around the water line on the glass. Bowl A had only an ash ring and was only slightly cloudy. Fish were gulping at the top of the water for air in both bowls.

It appears that Agnihotra ash retarded the putrefaction process and prevented the development of foul odor and murkiness in the water as the grass died off.

Experiment 2 The bowls were cleaned, completely fresh water was put into them and fish were returned

to the bowls as they had been, two in bowl A and two in bowl B. One quarter teaspoonful of Agnihotra ash was added to bowl B only. Nothing was put into

bowl A which had been washed free of any residual ash. On the third day it was noted that one of the fish in the untreated bowl A was lethargic.

This fish lingered for a while, but died six days later. Fresh water was added to both bowls on the nineteenth day in order to replenish that lost

to evaporation. On the twenty-fourth day spots of algae were noted growing on the sides of both bowls. The

number and size of the algae spots in bowl B, which was treated, was smaller than in bowl A. This observation was made repeatedly for the next 7 days, when the second experiment was terminated.

It seems that Agnihotra ash notably retards the colonization and growth of algae.

Experiment 3 Once again the two bowls were completely emptied and cleaned. Bowl A was filled with water, marbles and two guppies. Bowl B was treated with sodium

hypochlorite bleach, then rinsed well before being filled with water, marbles and guppies. By the next morning the water in bowl A felt slimy, although it appeared clear and clean. One teaspoon of Agnihotra ash was dropped into the bowl. Although the ash took some time to settle, at the end of the first week the guppies had

begun swimming throughout the bowl, rather than hanging near the surface as they had done earlier.

Agnihotra ash was at least as effective as bleach in taking care of the organisms that were fouling the water.

ConclusionTherefore, in ecosystems wherein we have concern for fish etc., Agnihotra ash looks like it might be a viable alternative. These simple experiments on the bio side effects of Agnihotra ash in a fish bowl have long-range implications for the use of Agnihotra ash in the treatment of polluted and acidified lakes and streams.

ADVANCES OF RESEARCH IN FARMS WITH SYSTEMS OF PRODUCTION WITH AGRO-CATTLE COMPONENTS IN THE HIGH HUALLAGA ÁREA THROUGH INTERACTIVE

INTERVIEWS.Jorge Rios Alvarado

Zootechnological Engineer, with Masters in Agro-Cattle Systems of Production, Main Professor and Dean of the Department of Zootechnology of the UNIVERSIDAD NACIONAL AGRARIA DE LA SELVA, at Tingo Maria, (Peruvian Amazon).

I. INTRODUCTIONAbout 47 % of farms in the Alto Huallaga, have an agro-cattle component. They are the ones which produce most profit. They are not big but present better conditions due to biodiversity and the functionality of their components, which are better managed by their owners.

Interactive interviews are important tools while observing dynamic agro-cattle systems, because they include detailed discussions, analysis, understanding, comparison etc., which allow to infer concretely about the objectives of the research.

Among the components evaluated in the different aspects of agro-cattle farms, we found Homa therapy being practiced by some. Initially I was skeptical. However, when I continued to visit and to evaluate, I was surprised by the results observed. This fact allowed us to begin to use some indicators to enable scientific evaluation, especially in the cattle sector.

The results concerning advancement up to date, are satisfactory, comparing farms without the therapy and those with Homa therapy, in spite of the fact that only two farms used Homa therapy, those of Mr. Juan Muñoz Pérez in Milagros (Huanuco) and Mr. Américo Pérez in Tocache, (San Martin).

II. STUDY OF FARMS WITH A CATTLE COMPONENT. External morphology of bovine cattle (cows, bulls and calves) bred for meat, with

good characteristics of formation of muscular masses, compared with animals in farms without HOMA therapy.

Excellent shine in the fur of animals with a good health appearance, as compared with animals without the therapy.

Weight at the time of stopping breast feeding, heavier with Homa therapy than those without the therapy and in lesser time.

Animals tend to become more docile with the therapy. Young bulls to be made fat gained good weight (50 kilos), by eating only pasture,

common salt and 2 kilos of Agnihotra ash, compared with mineral salts and pasture eaten by animals in farms without the therapy.

Pastures improve their yield and quality, this is why the weight of the animals increases.

2.1. STUDY OF CROPS COMPONENT.With regard to the crops one could observe:

Absence of plagues and sicknesses in the crops of plantain, cocoa, citrus fruits, vegetables, in some cases with little incidence.

It improves the production and the quality of agricultural products. The environment is notably healthier. After harvest, HOMA products have greater durability, compared with the traditional

(chemical) ones. Studies of farms with depleted soils due to the cultivation of coca, were carried out.

One could notice slight improvement in the composition of the minerals of the soil, according to analysis done in the laboratory of the UNIVERSIDAD NACIONAL AGRARIA DE LA SELVA. These were an outcome of the Masters Thesis in Systems of Production carried out by myself. An evaluation was also made of the economic effect of the therapy on the farms. The results show that the best economic results were in the agro-cattle systems .

III. CONCLUSIONS

1. Observations have been followed up during 1.5 years

2. In spite of the fact that there were only two samples of farms applying Homa Therapy and there were several samples of farms without the therapy, the results obtained are superior in favor of Homa Therapy farms; in some cases, significantly but in other cases, with high significance.

IV. RECOMMENDATIONS

1. It is necessary to continue to evaluate the indicators in order to be able to validate what has been observed and to analyze them statistically through the multivaried analysis to compare variables, which will allow inferring with greater veracity the results.

2. It is necessary to carry out laboratory analysis of blood, Agnihotra, soil, water, pastures, crops, etc. in order to be able to compare the therapy with those who do not use Homa Therapy.

3. It is recommended to evaluate the validation of Homa Therapy through a multi- disciplinary team (agronomists, zoologists, veterinarians, nutritionists, plant pathologists, sociologists, forestry experts, etc.) for a better evaluation and analysis of the results and of the research processes.

4. Broaden the evaluation with a greater number of producers who manage Homa Therapy and with a greater number of cattle and agricultural components with regards to breeding and cultivation, respectively.

5. Greater inter-institutional coordination, as well as with the producers to facilitate the research.

HOMA VERMICULTURE Dr Gloria Guzman Mendez

HOMA VERMICULTURE IS AN ECOLOGICAL DAILY ACTIVITY. Those who would like to improve their environment should practice it.

Installation and management of vermiculture with the methods of Homa technology and the use of Agnihotra ash, promotes the reproductive activity of red earthworms in summer and winter.

Within Homa atmosphere, all creatures become more efficient in the development of their maximum capacity for work in favor of maintaining the balance of the eco-system.

The observance of certain factors which contribute to a better realization of this balance, are of vital importance for the responsible agents within this process, such as climate parameters, of pressure, temperature, humidity, among others. Homa Technology comes from the Vedic Science of Climate Engineering, it ensures optimum conditions in the phenotype of all beneficial creatures.

Within Homa area, a favourable micro-climate is created for the development of earth worms. With Homa, in less than one month, the number of earth worms doubles. Normally, this takes from 3 to 4 months.

A productive nucleus of earthworms for each bed is given as a reference with a population of 5,000 to 7,000 specimens (beds of 1x10 m2), containing one ton of raw material available as food.

In order to calculate the quantity of food for the earthworms for a month, we have to multiply by two, the volume of each bed. To ensure sufficient food for one bed of earthworms, we require two metric tons (2mt) minimum of Homa compost.

With Homa technology we obtain minimum 12 harvests per year. Sometimes, we have achieved from 17 to 18 harvests in a year. With conventional method, maximum harvests are 4 per year. 2.1.-COMPOSITION OF HOMA COMPOST FOR EARTHWORMS FOOD:

We must make sure that the food for the earthworms is well composted. Ideal is to feed them only with cow dung and Agnihotra ash. Before producing Gloria Biosol from vermicompost, it is good to feed the earthworms with Agnihotra ash for one month. Best to avoid cow dung which has been produced more than three weeks ago because it becomes too compact, also the material will have a more acid pH and it will favor the appearance of insects. Pay careful attention to poultry manure which is not gathered regularly. For carbon content, basically cellulose, one can include waste from fruits. Papaya, citrus, mangos, pineapple, apples, among others, are ideal. Also waste from vegetables. These make compost more porous and light making its fermentation easier. Also, with this material, when the process is finished, it leaves fine fiber particles which improve the agricultural qualities of the earthworm castings and it adds minor elements to it.

This mixture, during its process of bio-degradation inside a Homa atmosphere, emanates an exquisite fragrance, which permeates the whole environment, contributing to the healing as in “aromatherapy”. One cannot typify the smell of such aroma. It is a mixture of fragrance from flowers and/or fruits. This pleasant aroma attracts pollinators within the area. With Homa the compost is processed with a pleasant aroma and it contributes in favor of the bio-feedback from nature. Also, one obtains a quality feed for domestic earthworms. This happens only with Homa.

2.2.- Management of Vermicompost Beds with Homa Technology:For each ton of fresh cow dung one can obtain a little more than 500 kilos of Homa earthworm castings. In order to achieve good management of the earthworm beds, it is necessary to observe the following:

Earthworms should be put in the compost at the end of the afternoon and irrigated with Agnihotra ash solution after sunset. Homa compost is placed as a hillock or mound with a shape of “the back of a fish” in the middle of the bed. In that tableland or “plateau” the populations of earthworms are inoculated. There, fermentation is greater than at the sides. This allows a variety of temperatures to which the earthworms will adapt themselves.

At the base of the beds, place as a mattress, fallen leaves such as cocoa leaves, mango leaves, which, in a short time bio-degrade themselves; also they are rich in certain nutrients. Also the mattress of leaves allows maintaining favorable temperatures for the bed and for food, since earthworms do not eat when compost is too cold.

Control the moisture. Watering with Agnihotra ash solution after sunset is convenient. It should be done according to need. It should be done every day during summer (for 1 minute). Also, in the middle of the bed, one can place several bottles upside down filled with Agnihotra ash solution, with small holes so only drops come out of the bottle. This allows maintaining the proper moisture the material. During the rainy season, water twice a week (for 30 seconds). The required moisture for the material can be measured manually by squeezing it but no drops fall.

We must take care to water the 15 centimeters of the surface of the bed, area where the majority of the earthworm population is. It is not important that the surface would be always moist. One centimeter could be dry.

Beds should be under a roof, in an environment with enough air and with light from the sun.

Plant health and bio-fertilization: The sides of the substratum are removed from the earthworm beds with a rake, then you sprinkle Agnihotra ash. This application is done one week after installing the beds and again, before inoculating the earthworms into the substrate.

Cover the beds with mesh which will ensure half shade to avoid excessive evaporation and regulating moisture and to protect earthworms from attacks by predators such as rats, mice, frogs, serpents, birds and some others.

In the area where the infrastructure is located, for the compost, the earthworm beds and Gloria-Biosol, it is good to install agro-forestry systems to achieve curtains of trees as wind breaks and to contribute to create a micro-climate favourable for the optimum bio-degradation of the raw material. The beds should be aligned with the direction of the prevailing winds. The soils should have covering plants for their adequate management and to avoid erosion.

The height of compost beds and earthworm beds should not be more than 30 to 40 centimeters high. If bigger than this, the fermentation will become anaerobic. This will facilitate the appearance of pathogenic agents.

To facilitate the management of the beds, they should not be longer than 20 meters.
