PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING #1 FEEDBACK SUMMARY | 1
GOSPEL
ROCKVILLAGE
Please take a moment to provide us with feedback on the ideas
and concepts presented today. Your input will help shape the
zone amendment application for Gospel Rock Village.
LIKES, DISLIKES, WHAT’S MISSING?feedback!
1. The preliminary siteplan concepts have been developed
according to THREE BIG MOVES to: protect the green; connect
the park; and animate the village.
Did we miss anything?
2. The concept for PARKS + OPEN SPACE proposes a range of
programs and protections to provide a diversity of parks and open
space and link the Village to Gospel Rock via a continuous and
publicly accessible network of parks and open spaces.
Did we miss anything?
3. The concept for MOBILITY proposes priority for pedestrians
where streets and trails are connected in a network - within and
beyond the neighbourhood - to support walking and cycling as
alternatives to the automobile.
Did we miss anything?
*There’s more on the back! Should you have additional comments and ideas, please provide any
feedback on the back of this page... and thank you for your contributions!

Prior to the submission of Gospel Rock’s Block 7 Zoning Amendment Application, a Public Information Meeting was held to present the Master Plan and to receive feedback.
Six themes were discussed: ‘Three Big Moves’(showing Master Plan concept and major changes to the Gospel Rock Neighbourhood Plan), Parks and Open Space, Mobility, Housing, Village Program, Phasing + Servicing.
The majority of feedback was positive, and negative feedback reflects opposition to development altogether.
