Software prerequisites for both Queue server nodes:

• SQL Server Native Client 11.0…\Prerequisites\SQL Server Native Client 11.0\x64\sqlncli.msi

• Microsoft .NET 3.5 SP1…\Prerequisites\DotNet 3.5 SP1\dotnetfx35sp1setup.exe

Installing these now will prevent the server from requiring a reboot during the Faxination queue installation.

Overview

Registry hot-fix for remote Queues.

To gain performance and avoid unnecessary errors during a queue failover, create the following Queue registry settings to indicate the local path (relative to the queue service) instead of the UNC path.

In each location, create a new REG_SZ value called ‘Path’ and set the local path to the Queue files (e:\fenestrae\kernel\output in our example).
