Transcript of Fall 2015 Newsletter Final
Dan Gregory of Hummingbird Crea-
tive Group spoke to the AMA about
his career in web design and his ex-
perience in web development. Dan
also gave the AMA tips on what
makes you stand out to potential em-
ployers and skills you should develop
while still in school.
UNCG’s AMA was given a fundrais-
ing opportunity of a lifetime.
UNCG’s printing office “ Spartan
Printing” needed over 40,000 home-
coming announcements stuffed in
envelopes so they can be sent out to
alumni. AMA members and volun-
teers came together and was able to
complete the task within two weeks.
The AMA was awarded $800 for
completing the task.
Hello, my name is
Ron and I am the
Vice President of
Sponsorship and
Fundraising for the
American Marketing
Association. I am a
senior and finance
major. What drew me
to AMA was the
chance to not only
meet real world pro-
fessionals, but to
also help my fellow
students possibly
find a pathway into
their career. The AMA
has taught me a
great deal about re-
sponsibility to your
organization and
commitment as a
whole.
