CONCEPT The Discovery Challenge is a one day team building activity focused on getting to know the members of the team, recognizing each members’ strength and weaknesses and ultimately to form harmonious dynamics within the group. Group will initially be divided into smaller, more manageable groups, assigned a facilitator and rotate around a series of activities focused on the above objectives. After going through these challenges, these smaller groups will be made to test themselves against the other groups by undergoing our Adventure Challenge. II. ACTIVITIES a. Adventure Challenge- an amazing race type of activity. Groups are to search the area for Control stations, do the activities, and finish in the shortest possible time to win. Discovery Challenge

I. CONCEPT

The Discovery Challenge is a one day team building activity focused on getting to know the members of the team, recognizing each members strength and weaknesses and ultimately to form harmonious dynamics within the group.

Group will initially be divided into smaller, more manageable groups, assigned a facilitator and rotate around a series of activities focused on the above objectives. After going through these challenges, these smaller groups will be made to test themselves against the other groups by undergoing our Adventure Challenge.

II. ACTIVITIES a. Adventure Challenge- an amazing race type of activity. Groups are to search the area for Control stations, do the activities, and finish in the shortest possible time to win.Activity choices for adventure challenges:

1. Mine field -Flag lets or Balls are scattered as mines in the field. A blindfolded member is guided through by the members

2. Puzzle fit irregular pieces to form a rectangular block. Level of difficulty increases as pieces increases.

3. Toxic waste team effort in transferring bucket of waste to another bucket using multiple lines of ropes.

4. Unity walk wooden plank with straps are use to walk in groups.

5. rope courses rope traverse using multi-vine and single rope.

6. V - ropes crossing ropes in pairs using each other to balance and make their way across the ropes.

7. Obstacle course a team crosses a series of suspended tires,plunks

8. rope labyrinth crossing a series of multi-vine ropes as hazards or obstacle.

9. rope maze crossing a series of ropes representing as laser beams.

10. rope burning fastest to break the rope by burning using available resources.

11. Cargo net fastest to cross a variety cargo nets.

b. Rapelling- this high angle activity of going down an elevated area with the use of a friction device and rope.
