Adult Sunday School
Using “The Wired Word” curriculum, we will have a brief synopsis of a news story, followed by probing questions and a time for confronting the
issue with scriptures and hope. We gather in room #7 (Brick Classroom) 15 minutes after the end of the worship service.
Next Week – “Governor’s Call to Reduce Violence with Prayer Inadequate, say Pastors.” Consider:
The Bible reminds us that God's calendar is different from ours:
"But do not ignore this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like one
day" (2 Peter 3:8).
When does time seem to be a source of pressure and/or stress
for you? When does time seem to be a blessing?
Regarding time, the Bible speaks of four dimensions: past,
present, future and eternity. Which one does it emphasize the
most? Why do you think that is?
How is time related to the call of God upon us?
