Language

Requirements

Students who are not native speakers of English and attending courses in English at

FEP are strongly advised to show proof of their language proficiency through

certificates /diplomas in English (eg. TOEFL; IELTS; FCE; CAE). Students showing proof

of these diplomas will be prioritized in the selection for incoming mobility.

Portuguese Intensive

Language Course

International students can register at courses organised by the School of Arts (Faculdade de Letras). There are 2 type of courses: Intensive Course Annual Course Information regarding courses starting each academic year are usually available in July.

Students should ask for informations while in their home country in order to make sure they will be able to attend a Portuguese Language Course upon arrival which will be really useful during their stay. Each student is responsible for their own registration and for the payment of the course. Contact [email protected]

Inbound Mobility

Important Note

Students coming to FEP for undergraduate studies can come either in the Winter or Spring Semester; students coming to FEP for graduate or master studies should come in the Spring semester as there is a very limited number of places available in the Winter Semester and fewer master level courses. FEP does not send students to our partner schools for one academic year and to guarantee reciprocity of exchanges FEP accepts students for one semester only.
