Surveys are tallied and the results will lead the design team in a specific direction.
Based on the results of the surveys the design team will come up with “Buzz Words” that describe the buyer and/or the product.
Image Board
The design team collects images that represent the buzz words and the data collected from the surveys.
The images are laid out and glued on a board for future reference.
In addition to images often times colors, textiles, and textures are added to the image board.
Image Board
IdeationBased on the image board artists begin to create multiple sketches to form a new idea.
Often times the sketches are very loose at the beginning. The design team then meets and refines the idea. Further sketches may be required.
ConceptsOnce an idea is selected artists will draw a few different concepts of the same idea. Shading and shadows are added.
RenderingEventually one of the concepts is selected by the design team and a finished rendering is created. This rendering is used for pitches, sales etc.
