At the easternmost edge of the Alps, near the border between Italy and Austria, lie the most beautiful mountains in the world - the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Their unique carbonate-rock formation originated around 250 million years ago in tropical latitudes from the deposition of seashells and coral reefs. Mount Lagazuoi is located halfway between the Queen of the Dolomites, Cortina d’Ampezzo, and Alta Badia. The Fassa Valley, the Gardena Valley and the Pusteria Valley are all less than 60 minutes away by car.The top of Mount Lagazuoi can be reached in three minutes with a modern and fast cable car departing from the Falzarego Pass, at 2100 m above sea level on the Road of the Dolomites.

THE DOLOMITES Mount Lagazuoi is located in the heart of the Dolomites
